Edit: Talked to the manager the next day and she was very sorry and was not okay with what was going on. She made it right. 5:30pm and they have kids running around upstairs which is supposedly closed off, going into the kitchen, sitting and standing on top of the condiment counter and no adult around. Health department would have a great time with this place.

Always hot and fresh, best fast food burger in town. Reasonable prices with friendly staff who never get your order wrong. Love it here.

A&Ws can be hit or miss, but this one is great. Food is always tasty and quick. Located inside of a gas station (gas station could use a bit of updating) but there is seating options for dine-in and a drive thru as well. There's an upstairs dining area with additional seating that they open up if it gets busy. This is one of my go-to's for a good quick meal in downtown Dubuque.

Top floor is unique and cool these days. Food was good and you still can't beat A&W root beer! I was skeptical walking in but glad we stayed.

That's one beautiful place.the top floor just beautiful.its big enough to have a wonderful party.

I'm a cab driver, The employees are very helpful as well as kind. They are all upbeat in positive. That's why I shop there everyday.

A&W is just the absolute best fast food, hands down. Their food is exactly what you want, prepared exactly the way you want it. The burgers were hot, juicy, and well-seasoned. The fries were hot and crisp. The cheese curds were especially delicious! Everything was made to order, which is really what you want.

The rootbeer is .. DELISH! Burgers and fries are always fresh! Hands down best cheese curds in town. Great dinning room upstairs, always clean.

First of all, i just wanna show appreciation for real quality customer service served on a daily. The food is always fresh. If you find something unsatisfying of about your order they go above and beyond to make it right. I never feel like im spending too much money when feeding a family of 3 and we order all across the menu. Everyone,and I mean everyone is so pleasant and polite. I absolutely love great customer service and I let them know evey time we roll through.... Alright gotta go my root beer float cheese curds and chicken sandwich are calling Me.

Neat nostalgic inside a convenient store. Check out the old hot rod pictures on the wall while you dine inside. 😁👍👍

Dining in here is the way to go..... upstairs balcony dining is pretty nice as well as retro ice cream shop Style seating window side downstairs

The staff was friendly and accommodating to our non dairy needs. Ordered the beyond burger and it was perfect. Would be nice if Wisconsin had this option for those with allergies/sensitivity. Great job and will stop back again.

Comfortable and quiet place to get quick bite after you pump some gas. Reasonable prices. Friendly employees, fast service. Huge dining room on the second floor. AL facilities was clean. Fresh made local root beer tastes delicious. Very nice decorated with some antique pictures and magic ball.

Staff was polite and helped me get everything I needed . Also love the upstairs seating and of course the root beer floats 🥶💯

Good food but drive through only is dumb. You can walk right up to the counter and the employees just pretend to not see you!! 😹😹😹😹 It's soooo dumb.
