Dr. West is the absolutely best vet. I went through 3 veterinarians before I found her about 2 years ago. She pours the love and compassion into my pet. For all our visits routine and otherwise.

This Veterinarian is at the top of the class! Years ago, we took our cat who had lost tremendous weight. We thought she was done but HCVH diagnosed her illness and years later, she is healthy and sassy. They have been treating our Doberman with a thyroid imbalance. What’s more, recently she developed a large fluid mass in one ear. The diagnosis was correct yet again and after treatment with medicine, the fluid is 90% gone as of this review. In both cases, no surgery was needed.

I hate that my review may make my wait longer because of new clients who read this, but this Veterinarian deserves the review. My family loves this Vet and recommend them to anyone who loves their furry family!

We loved our first visit! The reviews did not disappoint. Everything was explained to us, prior to touching our new puppy. We weren't hit with any surprise fees. I think the assistant, Kelsey, was so sweet & patient. We will definitely be going back as a regular patient. We will also recommend this place to others.😀💯💯

My buddy Ernie suffered for years with diabetes. He had to have two shots a day, which got expensive, but he was worth it! The good folks at Henry County Veterinary Hospital were always coming up with ways to help us save on his meds and syringes and other ways to help our budget. Sadly, Ernie passed one night last November just before Thanksgiving. The next day when I took him to the office, Joy met me at my car and didn't make me say a word. She knew I'd wind up crying like a baby if I did. She just gave me a melancholy smile (through a mask). Not long after, I got the sweetest card in the mail from Dr. West, Joy, Melissa and all the staff. Everyone included a sweet personal note about my special goofball. It's the personal touches that make these folks such a special part of our furry family.

This vet has such a caring heart. My dog went there for the first time in 2005. He was put to sleep yesterday, he was over 18 years old. Dr. West and the entire staff was so compassionate to us. I would never have taken my dog anywhere else! My son also uses them for all his animals. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

Took my fur baby for his first appointment after relocating to the area. I was very nervous about taking him because he had had a bad interaction at a boarding facility in Marietta and has NEVER been the same.

I had spoken to the staff about him before coming to ensure they are safe and my 67lbs baby can get the care he needs. They were AMAZING! Appointment so fast he didn't know it was over, he loved the staff, wanted to go back in after appointment was over, and I can honestly say we have found him a place to be CARED for.

quick, friendly, they really do care for your pet. gave lots of pets and treats to my puppy, pumpkin. i would 100% recommend using them as your pets primary.

The Vets & helpers have always been kind, considerate, and caring. We highly recommend them for your pet needs.

Needed a vet on Saturday, and our usual vet isn't open. After taking my dog today, I don't see going back to the usual.

Every experience I had was positive. Extremely attentive, friendly, and was evident every employee cared about their job. The office is still closed, but the employees were great about checking everyone in, and attending to the cars. The place was extremely busy, but they did everything they could to keep things moving. The vet called and took time to explain and answer my questions, and was extremely kind in everything.

To add to how great they are, the car next to me was there for sadder reasons. Multiple employees came out to the car to tell the owner how sad they were for her. They didn't have to do that, but they did.

Affordable and most of the staff is friendly. I have to say, the best thing about this place is Melissa. She’s an assistant. She is the reason I kept coming back here. She is super friendly, helpful and you can tell she truly loves animals and what she does. Dr West seems nice but I’ve only seen her a few times. The new Veterinarian I don’t care for. She isn’t friendly and doesn’t seem to like animals(or at least not my dog). Overall I’m happy with this vet.

So happy to have found this vet. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The vet assistants as so kind, patient, and gentle with all of our animals. Definitely recommend if you are in the area. Only issue is that their hours are a bit tough - close at about 5 and no weekend appointments.

This place is awesome! I was looking for somewhere to de-claw my 5 year old fur baby (tabby cat) after I had purchased a rather expensive leather sectional. Since she had destroyed our current leather furniture and I didn’t want to get rid her, this was my only option. After calling around to several other vets and feeling unsure and uncomfortable with the staff, I found this place. The techs at Henry County listened to me lament about hurting my baby, and consoled me by answering every question. They even provided an option that didn’t involve surgery. When I came in everyone was so professional and caring. They really show love to the animals they treat. Since she had to stay overnight for a few days, they encouraged me to call to check on her after my fur baby’s surgery. Everywhere else I called made me feel like just another number and I didn’t feel comfortable trusting them with my pet. The Henry County Vet Hospital staff was warm, caring, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them!
