Long John Silver's | A&W

Always delicious. It was ready before we had even gotten napkins and filled our cups!

Good food, clean restaurant and was actually not too busy inside. Good service overall.

My husband and I don't have one of these in our town, so every time we go to Burlington we eat here. The line was out the door, and they said it would be about a 12 minute wait. We only waited maybe 7 minutes. The food was brought to the table and it was very hot and fresh. They're food is delicious and never disappoints!

Yummy! Crispy hot fresh Long John's fish and shrimp platter with coleslaw, French fries and hush puppies! Mmmmm mmmm mmmm yes please!

Service was excellent. All employees we dealt with were kind, knew answers to our menu questions and delivered great service. Only issue we had was wondering if the chicken had been cooked in the fish oil. Still a good meal.

This is one of the only Long John silver's left near where I live. Which is unfortunate really, because they have such great fish! That new grilled salmon bowl with the baja sauce is extraordinary. I'll make the trip here just for that

Had Long John Silvers tonight and it was delicious. The Oaks at the Burlington location know how to cook the fish and the hush puppies are the best I've had at any of there restaurants. If you get a chance to visit them, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

A&W= Wonderfully nice staff. As far as the food goes... the American meal I ordered could not have been made any better. Bacon, cheese, lettuce and everything; all fresh tasting. Well put together too, no burger smash and slide surprise here.

It was awesome. I live in Muscatine Iowa and when I saw A&W Root beer and Long John Silver's it was like heaven. LOVE THEM BOTH!!!

I'm from California and we people in CA. Love fish and this fast food restaurant has the best food in this area that can come close to the up bringing I had growing up. So I like to treat myself once in awhile and eat there. It reminds me of home.

I LOVE to eat at LJS. Their chicken, fish and shrimp are great. I like their fries but hate their hush-puppies. After you order, they bring the food to your table. All the employees at our local LJS have a positive attitude. This must mean they are enjoying their job.

I was a little kid when my Grand parents turned me on to those perfect chicken planks in a Mo. Ljs
Because we lived so close to the Mighty Mississippi (on Illinois side). We would go to Iowa , about 20 minutes, and still loved those planks and hushpuppies!
I live in ND and Fargo had the only LJS, paired with A & W. But that's about 5 hrs drive. And very very sad to say, it's gone now Too.
So, we still stop in Iowa to indulge on every trip back to Illinois to see my dad and family.
I'm now in my 50's. Still love going. Every chance we get!
Now my son lives in Ontario. And he misses it as much as I do!!!
