East Grand Inn

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend and we found it to be fantastic. We booked through Expedia. It was a cheap option but we were spending most of our time shopping so it was just really a place to relax and sleep. The check in was wonderful, the room was clean and the lady at the front desk was really nice and when we asked for something we had it right away. The beds are clean and the pillows are good quality. They do have little soap bars and little packages of conditioning shampoo but I would recommend you bring your own soap/ shampoo/ condition from home. The breakfast is on the basic side, but was fresh with bread, bagels, cream cheese, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. The coffee was really good. If you want more, McDonalds and Hugo's are within walking distance. They have vending machines and an ice machine so you can fill your cooler before you leave. All the room are on the ground level so it was easy to bring our bags in and out. It is about a 10-15 minute drive to where all the regular stores are that we usually visit, but it was a nice change and we saw more things to do because of the short drive so we appreciated that. We will definitely only be staying here from now on.

Great bargain for your money. Rooms are always clean and the day shift front desk staff is wonderful. I had a package shipped here and it was more than happy to receive it for me. Quality is great. But the breakfast is very limited. It seems like the evening lady doesn't seem very friendly. Seems somewhat annoyed at the fact that I need something from her. The guy that works Monday through Saturday in the mornings deserves a raise for sure

Could not be better in it's price range. Clean rooms, great beds that aren't worn out, lots of hot water at all times, decent free continental breakfast, large parking area for cars and semi's, big grocery store next door, and staff that is better than facilities charging three times the price.
Stayed here three weeks and will return. And if you desire, they have smoking rooms.

Absolutely great!! Caring, friendly management and staff. Clean room, safe parking lot, and loved having the continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Despite its outer appearance which honestly worried us at first, we enjoyed our month long stay due to work.
Our only complaint would be the cigarette smell that would come from the vent in the bathroom but we'd just turn our vent on and it would go away. Some of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in at a hotel or motel. Staff was extremely friendly, especially the brunette at the front! She always went out of her way to interact and be kind to our kids! Shower got nice and hot and had great pressure. Rooms were super clean.

The bed was comfy as were the pillows. For a night or two the price is fantastic. Older but well maintained. Our room was very clean. Staff friendly.
This isn't a Hilton so temper your expectations, but a great sleep at a grat price.

Decent motel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. If you are traveling, and just need a place to stay over night, and want to save some money, then this place is perfectly fine.

I have been delivering to this hotel for 4 years. The owner is a nice guy and his employees have been there as long as I have been delivering so around here that says a lot. Not the nicest hotel I have been in but lots of people stay there and at times it is packed. For the $$ it seems to be a good place to get some rest if you want to save $$. Mostly workers stay there probably trying to save some money. I wouldn't stay there on vacation with my family but if in town for work or just passing through or just needing a place to catch some 💤 it would definitely be on my list and the Domino's is only a block away so the food is always hot and fresh!

This is the second time I am visiting this place, it is pretty comfortable and great service! The rooms are pretty clean, had no problem so far. Free breakfast and wifi. There is also an option for people smoking.

Given the great price, I didn't really know what to expect, but the place is perfect! All of the room entrances are indoors and keys are required to enter the main hall, so it's really secure. Cleanliness is top notch as well. The staff are all very nice and hospitable also. The AC works much better than in most other hotels as well.

East Grand Inn , I have to stay here again for 2 reasons . 1 not to spendy 2. The owner is a great guy. Room 148 is a great room and it was quit and clean .They we up vlearing the snow and I got a smile out of the owner . In short it is a place i will recommend to my family and friends.

The travels from Ohio to Manitoba have not been kind. We went from giving money to a man who was trying to lift the toll gates in Chicago to almost getting robbed at a McDonalds in Wisconsin. After all of this, we were greeted by the friendliest staff of any place I’ve stayed in. We were trying to watch the game but our tv had issues so I reported it to the front desk, saying it wasn’t a big deal if they couldn’t fix it. The extremely kind lady at the front desk assured me that I “Need to watch the game!” and accommodated me with another room. The price point and location is fantastic, the staff is incredible. Everything I could have asked for.

Really friendly people couldn't ask for better service and definitely the best price I recommend it to anyone watching their monies 😜 definitely worth it I enjoyed my stay

The rooms are great for the price! We got a room with two beds and wifi for less then $70 and it was a great stay. No breakfast but you can't beat the price.

Staff is very friendly rooms are reasonably priced wish the breakfast was a little more but McDonald's down the road I won't knock a star for it.

I stay there regularly. I like the owners and staff. Nice place to stay and the best thing is that they are pet friendly.

I stay here at the East Grand Inn quite frequently. The owner and his wife are very friendly as well as the rest of the staff. They try to be very accommodating. They have a small breakfast in the morning till 9:30am. They usually offer bagels, toast and waffles as well as Orange juice drink and offer coffee all day. They have pop and candy vending machines. They offer a washer and dryer for guests and have a vending machine for laundry soap and dryer sheets, price ain't bad to do a load of clothes. They have free Wi-Fi, sometimes it acts up...just let them know so they can check on there connections. Yes it's a older motel, but since the new owner purchased the motel, he has made many updates and continues to constantly keep fixing it up. The place has a home like atmosphere. Otherwise, there's a Fairfield Inn right next door if you want to pay more...the only difference next door, is, Fairfield Inn has a indoor swimming pool. That's not a priority for me.
