Obie's Bar & Restaurant

Love love love this spot! Different type of Mexican food as they claim it’s “Our” style of Mexican food. They have deep fried tacos and enchiladas that I’ve always loved.

My friend had a chicken basket with fries. We came here on a Wednesday night when all tables were full and bar side had many people at it. Ordered and served within 20 minutes. Quick service, kind waitresses, small town vibes, and large portions for cheap. $5 for a taco large enough to be your whole meal! Each night they have specials as well. Wednesday is meatloaf and I believe Tuesday is Tacos, but this is always a spot for a good meal out.

Small establishment with a cozy atmosphere. Average bar food with a Mexican style menu. Very large portions and very decently priced. Great service. Pictured menu items include chicken, steak and grilled shrimp tacos.

Next time we stop in I'm trying the burritos

Mom 'n Pop restaurant feel, but you can feel the community in the atmosphere and everyone truly loves coming there! You can tell by the highly quality, large portion food as well! Come with a big appetite and ready for some amazing food!

First time eating here...and the food was excellent. Had the mushroom and Swiss burger...and the edges of burger were crispy..and burger was juicy...and the bun was lightly toasted. The fries were hot and crispy Will be back.

This was a good stop for dinner. Tacos are crazy big and delicious. Never had a taco like it before. Fried pickles and dip were super good too. Good drinks and good service to top it off. Just know that it is cash only.

This was our first time eating at Obies and what a treat!! Fish tacos and tenderloins, a great salad bar and small town feel when you walk in the door!! Carol was a great waitress! If we’re ever in this area again, we will definitely be stopping again!

The tacos have the most amazing, chewy yet crispy on the outside fried shells. Tons of meat in the beef taco with great crumbled queso cheese. One is enough and very filling! The cheese curds were also absolutely delicious. Great value!

Hard to beat the tacos, recipe hasn't changed in decades. Excellent alternatives for those after a more traditional pub fare ... Burgers, tenderloins, and chicken, and fried pickles too.

Working in the area and stopped by. Got the ribeye sandwich with grilled onions and fries.

Ordered my steak medium but got what I would consider a medium-well. No complaints, the meat was still juicy and didn't need any sauce to pack it in and it was all brought together well with the toasted bun. Fries were hot and well seasoned.

I dunno about their Mexican food, but I'd definitely say they have great food for a small-town bar. Prices were reasonable, nothing crazy expensive, but not cheap either.

UPDATE: ate there last night, didn't have tacos, had a Ruben and it was soooooo good. The service was a little slow because they are short staffed but enthusiastic though she was hurried, she was very friendly.

Taco and burrito have been favorites since 1992 in a different location.

Such good food! We had the potato skins & tacos. I've never had fry bread & it was amazing with the tacos. Great attentive staff as well. Definitely will be coming back when we are near.

We were told they had their own spin on a taco. We knew we had to try it. They fry the dough for the shell and fill it with your fillings. We tried 1 of each flavor. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely come back. Reasonably priced and 2 will definitely be plenty for any appetite.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent. They had several items to choose from on their menu, so there should be something to please everyone. Yes, I would highly recommend this place.

As a newcomer to town, I found my "cheers" at Obies. After work every day are a great group of people, having a drink or two before heading home. The drinks prices are great, especially during happy hour. The bartenders, are exceptional and make you feel at home.
