Nice quiet place, friendly cooks that make delicious chicken and spiced milk tea. The rice itself was worth the visit, scrumptious to the last grain! The hot sauce that comes with it is freshly made in the restaurant! Very good and spicy on the chicken and rice.

Fantastic! Delicious food and friendly staff. Will 1,000% return soon. Honestly the best food we've had in Grand Forks so far. The tea and coffee were phenomenal.

I highly recommend this food. I am a little late in posting but it was so delicious. We had somali tea, soor lunch, with sambusa added. Everything was very delicious and well cooked. Thank you for the good meal.

Safari is the best Somalia restaurant in grand forks they have nice food I go everyday the food is Yummy

had the chicken suqaar with rice and beef sambusas… both were excellent! chicken and rice were well seasoned and the pastry shell of the sambusa was a delight in and of itself. definitely plane to come back and try other dishes. the staff are very friendly and kind.

Just moved to ND and was pleasantly surprised to find an authentic Somalian restaurant here. It's been awhile since I've had Somalian food and Safari did not disappoint. The rice is always to die for and the goat was delicious. Everyone was so very kind and happy to chat. Definitely will go back.

I had the chicken suqqar with rice. It was delicious! The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

This is an East African Coffee/Restaurant and Grocery Store. It has spacious parking lot. It serves Hot Sweet Tea and Coffee. The resturant has spacious seats and serves East African Cuisines. The grocery sales variety of grains, flours, dates, and spices.

Great place to eat. The food was very delicious and good price. I ate the rice with the beef. That was actually my first I’m trying a Somali food.

Lovely food and lovely people. I had the goat and rice, a zambusa, and a bur. The rice was lovely and cardamom forward. The zambusa was just awesome. The bur (like a beignet) would have been better hot (I brought it back to my place), but was still yummy.

I'll probably come here again very soon!

Great food! I ordered The Wrap, which is not on the menu. Loved it so much I had to go back 2 days later to have it again. I was surprised how large it was! It came on a plate cut in half and I thought that there might be a possibility that I could eat half of one of the halves, but I nearly ate both halves. My friend had the lamb and rice and it was excellent as well.

Tried their chicken Schwartz and Somosa both were very good. The sauce that comes with the chicken goes really well with the Somosa for dipping. Would definitely recommend those and will be back to try more

A bit of an interesting experience, and the food was incredibly delicious. Absolutely fantastic food, the goat was tender and seasoned well, the malawah was very sweet and soft, and the tea was wonderful.
