Edit: I'm here again, forgot to stop on my last trip up but this place never disappoints. Simply awesome as the last time I was here. If you live here and haven't been here yet please do yourself a favor and come in. Travelers I would say this has to be top 5 places to eat in Grand Forks. Spoil yourself come here and try the Lavosh.

This place is amazing. Can't believe I have waited this long to try it. Service was awesome, food was even better. I don't give out 5 stars often for a reason and they deserve it. I'll be back, when I'm zin town again.

Fantastic diner, loved the walleye nuggets. They're especially good dipped in the cream sauce and tartar sauce. Great coleslaw too!

Stopped here for lunch before leaving town. This place has great food. It's not fancy, but it is real food, real ingredients and real talent. The french dip is how I rate restaurants, it's simple, but oh so easy to screw up. Scotty's did an excellent job. Tender, flavorful beef piled on a fresh roll, it was executed flawlessly without a spec of gristle in any bite. The french fries actually taste like potatoes...so rare anymore. I'm looking forward to my next trip, just so I can try some of their other food.

Scotty's, like usual, was amazing today. Deluxe Tips n' Toast with creamy reds was my pick for lunch and it absolutely didn't disappoint. That dish is pretty much what this place is famous for. I usually order the French Dip. It's one of the best in town by far. Two thumbs way up!!!

Love this place. Scotty's is currently a favorite lunch spot of mine. Order at the counter efficiency with table service hospitality.

All things beef are terrific. French dip, fajita wrap. The walleye is delicious as well. Don't miss the house made ranch sauces.

This is the best Deli in Grand Forks! They have some very unique items that are amazing, like the Reds in cream sauce. They also have standard deli dishes like French dip and Reuben sandwiches. All with the freshest, homemade ingredients and always with friendly, fast service!!

I accidentally posted the wrong number of stars on this review. I ment to give 5 stars. I'm sorry about that. This deli is great. I eat there so often that the staff recognize me and know my order. The food is very good, the service is fast, and it's very clean. I highy recommend Scotty's....their grinders are especially good.

Fantastic tasting food. The Friday special is a Hot Turkey Sandwich, mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy. Yummolicious!! My son always orders the walleye nugget basket. The food and service is great.

We got referred to Scotty's Deli from the Rydell Family. What a great place. Sarah was our server. Very good and tasty food. We'll definitely be back when we're back in Grand Forks. Thank-you for the great service. 😊

If you appreciate really good, thoughtfully prepared, generous portioned food, than look no further. Scotty's is really the only true 'deli' in the area - yes, plenty of sandwich shops, but those aren't delis. The Ruben is off the charts - thick pile of pastrami, swiss cheese, on rye that's fresh and tasty. I'm just sayin', these people mean business. And they're pretty nice, too!

Always outstanding good. Really can't get enough of this place. Cost the same as a normal restaurant but the quality of good is 10X better. Not an exaggeration. Real home cooked food

Home-made food for a reasonable price. Try reuben sandwich with soup special. The only real negative is that this place is really easy to miss, but if you do pass by, give them a try. This is a local business that definitely deserves to be!

This place has Amazing Help, Atmosphere and the most Delicious Food next to Mom's and Heaven. If you haven't tried it yet but have been meaning to time to get with it. Go!

They have a terrific Philly, and my husband likes their shrimp po'boy. Given he's from Louisiana, that's worth 5 stars.

Staff was great and gave me a sample. Price was reasonable and soup was great. Come support a non-franchise family business.

The best of the Al's Grill menu! Scott & Christy and their family are excellent hosts. My favorite is the spicy walleye sub & the reuben! Excellent daily lunch specials.

Amazing food! The tips and toast are to die for! So glad someone took over when the other business went out of business. Get quite a bit for what you pay for! Doesnt take very long for pick up either

This is the 4th or 5th time I've been here and it's been delicious every time!!! I live 2 hours away and look forward to eating here whenever I'm in town. Recommend to everyone!!!!

I really liked this place! Great little sandwich place that also has lavosh, baskets, and yummy soups! The old fashioned creamy tomato soup was amazing!

Always fantastic. Great food...they need fountain drinks though. Sucks when the bottle of soda reaches the bottom and ya gotta buy another.
