I absolutely love Jessica ❤

I went to see Jessica because of constant upper respiratory infection. I was at the point of referring myself to mayo clinic as I had had these symptoms for about a year. Jessica said dont do that, going to mayo is for pretty serious conditions. I thought this is serious. Ive been having symptoms for a year?? She wanted me to get a CT Scan and see an ent. I asked her if she is going to recommend more appts, I need to have her fill out fmla paperwork for my job so I don't get fired. And she said that would not be possible because fmla is for long term leave. I told her she is incorrect and fmla can be used intermittently. I didn't argue with her but just left. She then failed to get pre authorization from my insurance Co for the CT scan and the provider now owes my insurance $1602.

To make matters worse, she seen my mom who had been in the emergency room twice within a week because of vomiting, dizziness, not eating etc. Jessica instantly recommended a walker for my mom because of her being unsteady without even having a confirmed diagnosis. Jessica and the 2 er drs told her she had middle ear infection. Jessica referred my mom to a physical therapist to work on getting the crystals in her ears back to normal. Apparently none of these drs nor Jessica knew what the hell they were talking about. My mom had covid. Greene co did a covid test and it was negative? She's had symptoms for several weeks now. Thanks to the incompetence of 2 er drs and Jessica my mother is in an icu bed, about ready to be intubated for a ventilator. The drs in ames confirmed she has no ear infection. Where in the world did these drs get their education??? my mother almost died because of this woman! if it weren't for my father and I rushing her to an out of county hospital, my mother would have died very soon after this.

it's pretty sad that we have to go out of town to see dr's/specialists because no one is trustworthy in greene co.

she was a terrible "dr". wouldn't recommend
in fact, i'll be looking in the des moines area for drs. staying clear of mcfarland clinic.
