The Centennial

Lovely renovated historic building on the square in Jefferson. We had a delicious lunch! Dessert is large enough for two or three to share.

Jefferson is lucky to have the Centennial! My wife and I have eaten here several times and the food, service and atmosphere is terrific. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. The chicken salad is my go to order and my wife loves the Thai salad. We will continue to come back!

As a frequent diner with friends and family at The Centennial, I can give this restaurant FIVE + stars!! The menu selections are delicious, varied (scrumptious salads, unique sandwiches, daily specials) and changed every two weeks to offer a fantastic assortment for any taste! Did I mention the out of this world desserts?? The best!! Always good to call for a reservation as this place is busy!!

Love The Centennial. The food is always fresh, the soups are great and the servers are attentive. My husband always gets enough to eat and says the Bell Tower Blend coffee is fabulous! The desserts are especially decadent and you will never go away hungry! The potions are huge and worth the price! The Centennial chicken salad is soooo good! And the building where the restaurant is located is beautiful. I also appreciate the fact that Chef Sara will offer gluten-free and some vegan options! It’s a must stop for lunch!

This "Labor of Love" restaurant is just what Jefferson needs! The food is delicious. The renovated historic building is lovely. And don't get me started on the desserts! Bring a friend to share or just take one home all for yourself. Chef Sara brings her love of all things culinary to this fabulous dining experience. A must-go-to place in this wonderful community. Can't wait to go back!

We were visiting family in Jefferson and went to lunch at the Centennial. The food was absolutely outstanding! There were 4 of us and we all tried something different and each one of us loved our dish. Excellent food, generous portions, wonderful service, reasonable prices and the atmosphere is chic and elegant. The Bell Tower Cake is a MUST.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Centennial in Jefferson, Iowa. The food was incredible! Everything was cooked perfectly and all the flavors were spot on. I also have to give a shoutout to the owner, for her hospitality. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. I can honestly say that this is one of the best restaurants in the area. If you get the chance, you should definitely check out The Centennial!

The Centennial is such a fun place to go! The food is amazing! I have eaten there several times. I usually have to take some home, but recommend saving room for their incredible desserts! The staff is so friendly and the Chef comes out to the dining room to check on the tables. I can’t wait until my next visit!

I love The Centennial Salad with cranberry, almonds and chicken on a bed of greens. It is served with a cup of homemade soup and the bread of the day . Excellent every time I order it. I have enjoyed many additional dishes. Thank you Sara!

Love the taste of the food and the portions that come with it. The unique menu changes often and never gets boring and always a warm soup to go with. Yum! Thank you for providing another place downtown to eat.

Highly recommend! Ordered the Bell Tower cake to go today when in town. Can't say enough wonderful things about this pumpkin pecan layered cake with cream cheese frosting. Made me go right back to my childhood. One order is enough for 2 to 3 people for sure! Be sure to check it out.

My personal favorite has been the steak and cheese sandwich and the lasagna soup, but Chef Sara is always coming up with something new and delicious, don't get me started on all the desserts that are amazing!

It’s a hidden gem in Jefferson!! The food was fantastic looking and was delicious!! I should’ve saved room for dessert. That was my only regret.

Wonderful food, team, and management! I have tried several items here and they are all wonderful. My favorite is the breakfast sausage quiche. So good!

Beautiful place, limited menu with everything we tried was great. Recommend the chocolate cake desert.
