Red Wing - Oregon City, OR

I just got to Portland for work and I needed new work boots and after being on the road for so long I didn't have a chance to get new work boots. I called this location to see if they had what I wanted in stock. They did not. Brant drove to another location and picked up the boots I was looking for after his shift ended on his time and brought them to his store the next day. He had everything I requested when I came to pickup my order. Talk about service! I wish I worked with people who were as dedicated as Brant. Kudos to Brant! If you're looking for anything at this location Brant is your go to there. Great job Brant!

I came in with a pair of boots that needed reconditioning. The super friendly and helpful manager (I think he is the manager🤔😅) said no problem and helped get those started right then and there. I was also looking to buy a new pair of boots and to get toe guards for them. The other employee went and searched to see if my desired boot was in stock, and when it was found not to be, he diligently helped me to order a pair from the factory. The manager was able to recondition and install toes guards on my boots within the hour, and I was super thankful for his diligence and attention to detail! I needed to use my boots by this Monday, so I was very thankful he could finish with them that day, on Saturday. Nicely done, would highly recommend to any of my coworkers! 😍👍

I’m in security and had a voucher to get shoes for my site. Being a small size, it was tricky to find a pair that fit the dress code, and also fit.
There were two people working, one of them I can’t remember the name of, but the other’s name was Taylor. She was incredibly helpful and worked with me to find a size that worked and met the requirements. The voucher I had didn’t quite cover the cost, so she made sure that the pair I got wasn’t too much over.
All in all, I have some high quality boots, and had a lovely experience.

I just went in there for the first time to buy shoes for my new job and the woman that was working is absolutely awesome!!! She made the entire process so easy and quick! I'm blown away by the service there, not only the woman who made me feel like I was buying from a friend but also the awesome deals they give you! Fixing the threads or any leaks or damage to the shoe. I will only be buying my boots from here for now on!

Absolutely incredible staff! I had walked in looking for a new pair of work boots and had trouble making up my mind. Had decide I’d look elsewhere to see my options, the staff were understanding and not pushy at all. Ended up coming back and they had the pair I had picked out previously ready to go! Cliff (and another man, unfortunately I didn’t get his name) the man helping me, congratulated me in for my very first visit and welcomed me to the “Family” By far the best customer service I have ever had in my life! Truly an amazing team at red wing. I hope to come back soon

They were extremely helpful and kind to my fiance. The sales person went above and beyond to make sure that he was pleased with his purchase. Not only that, but took their time to make sure they were the right fitting for his feet. Explained how the boots would break in and what a good fit should feel like for a work boot. I was very impressed by the level of customer service we received while at red wing shoes.

I am EXTREMELY difficult to find boots for. My feet are very different sizes and I'm pretty picky. Cliff worked with me for over an hour trying to find options with their limited selection during... these times. I ended up not finding what I wanted in the size I wanted, but that wasn't from a lack of effort on his part. They just simply didn't have the stock. Even when he knew I wasn't going to be able to buy there, but was shopping around for fit, (trying 6" boots when I want 8") he was great to work with in trying to help out and cheerful the whole time.

TLDR:
I stopped in, they didn't have the right stock, Cliff was great anyway.

Went back to the store to talk to them about a boot that wasn't fitting quite right and it was one of the best exchange experiences I have ever had. We discussed what was going on and he (the receipt says Michael) recommended going down in width to fix the issue. I was within the 30 Day Comfort Guarantee, so no muss no fuss and I was out the door in just a few minutes with a pair of boots that will fit better. As these new boots are tighter he took them in back and stretched them a bit to get them started for me. Thank you Red Wing for living up to your promise!

Went into this location today in search of some new boots for work. Michael helped me, and was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and attentive my entire visit. He handled 3 customer by himself, with ease, giving each customer one on one time without feeling rushed. I purchased a pair of Irish Setters. Hoping the boots last, but will definitely be back due to Michael's excellent customer service and knowledge when its time for another pair.

Second time to this location and great service again. Brandt helped me pick the right boot and took the time to personalize my inserts. It was right at closing time and never did he try to rush me out the door. Thank you.

Small personal store with great service. They sized my feet and even put me on a machine to find the stress points my feet so I can get the proper insoles. The boots came with a safety toe and cost about 225$. The boots also come with a 1 year bumper to bumper warranty and free stitching for the life of the boot.

They take care of their customers. Quality product with great service. I bought boots, the soles worn out to fast, less than 5 months. They replaced them, no problem. $159 boots, that's awesome.

So I've had these boots for two and a half years now. I'm an electrician. They have: replaced my laces after abuse, free. Conditioned my boots free of charge many a times. Have fixed and re stiched my boots twice, free. Put tough toe on my boots for 30 something dollars and did it perfectly for free. I blew out the side of my non stitched sole, fixed amazingly for free. Red wing for life. And also this branch in Oregon City has the best employees out of all the Portland area stores. These guys are the best. Always friendly. Give the best services. And no questions asked. 190 dollar boots. 2.5 years later. They have been fixed like new. I've been told one pair of boots per year, BS, if you go with red wing. Red Wing for life!

A little expensive however if your looking for quality boots that will last you a good long while it's definitely worth it. They will measure you and to see if you need arch support. Great for work or if you just like boots in general.
