Corner Grill

What a wonderful lunch destination. I sat at the bar, which boasted a refrigerated strip on which to place your beverage. So cool 😎 (pun intended). The server was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant. There were several TVs mounted up on the interior wall, but the volumes were low and not annoying, as can be the case.

There is a great variety of drinks to choose from, too. If I am in the area again, this is the place I'd go to for a good filling meal, a smooth drink, and a nice hone town feel. Good job!

I have all your typical foods like hamburgers, tenderloins, as well as supper, entrées. But they also make really good pizza.

Huge THANK YOU to the Corner Grill! Recently, we hosted a small Baby Shower Brunch at the Corner Grill that was a great experience. We were able to rent the complete restaurant on a Saturday morning. The Atmosphere is comfortable, relaxing and the staff are welcoming. The owner took time and went over all the food options, placement and spacing of tables and other details. They provided a lovely Brunch buffet including a Prime Rib Station. The guests had a terrific time honing their inter bartender skills with the Bloody Mary and Mimosa Bar. They were a pleasure to work with and the guests and Mom to be had a wonderful time.
HIGHLY recommend having a gathering here.

Stumbled across this wonderful place after visiting the Post Office. Awesome food menu to choose from, very friendly staff, service was a little slow, but they were very busy as it was lunch time. I had the taco salad, which was huge, had to take some home! They sometimes have a pizza buffet which I want to try soon!! Well worth the drive from Davenport. Will definitely be visiting here more often and would recommend trying this place!!

Very good food.

Friendly, family grill with bar offering great soups, salads, pizzas, burgers and more. The soup and salad is truly a meal for many and a bargain. The Taco soup is packed full of great flavors, just the right amount of spices and veges. The root beer is delicious and like that offered back in the fifties. Nice ambiance, with framed pictures of prominent places and fun photos of Blue Grass, Iowa. A must place to go for a good meal at a reasonable price.

Got the Hawaiian pizza and sum Buffalo wings lightly sauced . The chef’s nailed it absolutely delicious . The customer service was polite and attentive and at a fair price . 👍

Perfect pulled pork!! The sauce was amazing and topped with the coleslaw, it was a sandwich I will continue to order!.. And don't get me started on the PERFECT fries!! Seasoned and cooked to the exact perfection a fry should be! My 3 year old got the Bobo cheeseburger and it was delicious! He was restless and not wanting to eat and our waitress (who happened to be the owner too) saw we were trying to get him to finish his portion we cut and offered a great deal to him, extra cookies to take home if he just ate the last section! He was shy to agree but when she walked away he had a change of heart and chomped it down quick 😁 Their draft old fashioned rootbeer is a definite must try as well!! We will be back!! More than once!!

Excellent food, safe burgers for people with Celiacs Disease! The servers were great and ours was extremely kid friendly. She even made my boys a little ‘movie night box’ with popcorn and a treat for later. We will definitely be returning often!

The food, the friendly service, and the frozen bar rail are all great reasons to stop here for a bite. Their pork tenderloin sandwich is completely irresistable! Although they're burgers and wings are great too. I try to stop here whenever I'm in town.

Best fried pickles I've ever had. Moms pasta salad is pretty good. Burger was amazing and the portions were bigger than even expected. My husband had a bbq chicken sandwich that was cooked perfectly. So yummy!

A cut above "bar food" - menu options include dinner entrees, and the usual sandwiches/salads/appetizers. Never had a bad meal here, and servers are well- trained- attentive, but not hovering. A great choice for casual dining - you won't be disappointed.

Food was delicious and service was outststanding. They even made my drink correct. Tall glass light in booze heavy on pop. As I was driving.

Great little bar with an iced strip to set your drinks on to keep them cold! Pizza was yummy and I showed up a bit later and they still made me one! Great staff and clean atmosphere!

We arrived about 6:00 with my 4 and 9 year old grandkids. The service was great. Grandkids got pizza and they were happy. I had the Corner Grill wrap and it was fantastic ! My husband had the meatloaf dinner and said it was one of the best meatloaf he had ever tasted. My daughter in law had Turkey on rye . She said it was wonderful. When I get back to Iowa, I will go there again. When we left at 7:00, it was turning into more of a bar. Time to get the grandkids out.
