Golden & Pine

My husband and I made a special trip to KC to try and find a comfy sofa, along with some unique pieces for our new home. We had been to several big box stores and had had little success. A fortuitous, quick search of local home stores led me to G&P, and it was our very first stop. As soon as we stepped in, we were smitten! Such a cool vibe. Everything feels very organic and natural, like something you might find locally in California. And as someone who is passionate about fair trade, I LOVE that this shop is focused on curating ethically made items from like-minded artisan businesses.

We have had some follow up questions about the N.C. made Younger sofa line they carry, and the manager Carly has been extremely helpful. She even drew out a blue print of our space to help us with layout ideas and just went above and beyond. Suffice to say, Ya Gotta GO!

I always love browsing this shop! Constantly new pieces. The staff there has always been so kind and inviting. Today I had quite a few questions when I called and they were very patient and knowledgeable. They let me place an order over the phone and had it ready for me to pick up before the end of the day! Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience!

This is a special store with carefully curated items that are made by artisans - always a great choice for a special gift or quality item for your home. The owner has a great eye! Unfortunately, they are moving over to the Prairie Village shops at 67th and Mission Road. We will miss them in the Brookside area for sure!

Beautiful collections and friendly staff. G&P seem to have frequent weekend events - which are so fun! Wish I could have it all! 🙂
