Smiling Moose / BurgerSear (Grand Forks)

Nice friendly and nicely decorated and plenty of space to eat and dine in (not waitered service so it’s easy to just order and sit). I ordered a vege sandwich (there are 2 options and that’s a lot more than any place in Grand Forks!) and the ingredients were fresh and I loved them in the combo for the Hippie Chick sandwich. There was a choice for wheat bread. All were fresh. It cost $10.66 including tax then I tipped $1. Looks like the burgers are hefty and savory so if I were a burger lover I would probably enjoy them here. Nice shout out to Patrick! Great guy!

If you want that quality food prepared fresh search no further you found the right joint. Always good vibes good music playing (reggae ) or used to hope they start again. Don’t go by give it a try <3

We got a couple of sandwiches. We split the 2 to share. They both were great. Had the BBLT and The pastrami. Try this place if you get a chance.

Delightful service even if your new. No rush. It’s a calming atmosphere. The service and knowledge of owner and workers is friendly and go out of way to answer questions. Very accommodating when asked about gluten free. Sometimes it can be hard for families to eat out anymore. This I am on the 👀 for so families can enjoy eating out together again. The cookies. WOW THANKS AGAIN!!!! But don’t take my word for it. P.s. don’t forget to buy your canned moose😍

We were recommended this location for a quick lunch. The sandwiches we had were prepared fresh and were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the spicy pulled pork and chicken noodle soup.

This Smiling Moose has the BEST customer service! Not only were the staff keeping the restaurant clean, but they were ensuring we were taken care of. The food was also excellent. Our party of 5 ordered a wide variety and everything we received was better than expected. Adam is our fave!

First time there, husband had steakhouse burger and I had wildfire chicken sandwich both with waffle fries. Service and food were excellent!! Will definitely be back to try other items. Oh and the Fudge brownie was outa this world too.

Excellent as always! Absolutely the best burger in the GF area

I went with three other friends, we all had different orders, they did a pretty good job at getting them right. My one friend ordered a soup with chips and a drink, and they brought out the wrong size soup. However, they rectified it right away, and with really a bright smile and an apology. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the mood for a nice deli sandwich.

Food was amazing and the server was patient and knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. Will be going back.

EXCELLENT sandwiches and super friendly staff! I had The Motherlode and the tomato bisk soup. (I switched out the turkey for the chicken.) The sandwich and soup were awesome. Special shout-out to super sweet lady working up front and the beautiful short girl in the kitchen with the pony tail who brought me napkins!

This place is excellent. I always have them twist me up a big green fatty.

So, the food here is great. I've never had a bad meal here.

The best part, is that I've also never experienced any bad service here.

All in all, 10 out of 10. Clean restaurant, delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, and great staff.

I once, unknowingly, went in about 5 minutes before closing and the staff was still nice, despite probably wanting to kill me for being *that* person.

They're my favorite sandwich place in the Grand Forks area.
(And the cookies are delicious as well!)

I was never there before,I liked the service and the food.

Customer service by Liza was outstanding. It was our first time and she walked us through the menu and good options for everyone. It is a great place for families. They have gluten free, nut free, spicy (which in ND is tough to find), and vegetarian options. We were in town for lunch and it is difficult to find a spot where someone with Celiac disease feels comfortable eating but I had no qualms with this place. Thanks! We will be back.
