Acendas Travel

JoAnn at Acendas Travel is amazing to work with! We have now used her expertise in planning a small personal vacation (The Haven in Cancun - amazing resort btw), as well as our destination wedding in Punta Cana, where she helped us to secure a wedding date with the resort and booked the travel/stay of our 30 guests! Our travels that she has arranged have been very smooth without any issues. All of our wedding guests said that JoAnn was kind , easy to work with , and made the whole process stress free! Having our loved one's international travels in the hands of an expert gave us huge peace of mind. My husband and I highly recommend JoAnn for any travels you have! We will absolutely be working with her again for our future trips if she will have us! :)

We have used Acendas for multiple trips to Mexico, Europe and St Lucia. Every time we have been so glad that we did. From recommending accommodations we wouldn’t have known to find that far exceeded our expectations to setting up transport and drivers to make our travel and experience in foreign countries easy and worry free. It’s much more of a vacation when someone who knows the area handles the details. We don’t plan vacations without Acendas. I highly recommend them them to anyone planning to travel!!

Our trip to Italy was a trip unsurpassed by none. Kathy S assessed our desires and listened to our wishes and planned a vacation of a lifetime. From private drivers to private tours, sightseeing and leisure time suggestions, the trip was flawless. All we had to do was review our agenda, pull out our vouchers and enjoy EVERYTHING! I have been using Joann Stover for my vacations for several years now. When it was time to plan my destination wedding, I knew this wasn't her area of focus but I trusted her to help me pick the perfect location and she came through! Joanne helped me with all of the details and kept me calm throughout the process. It's wonderful to have a travel agent who has been to the places that she is recommending for you.

Our Viking River Cruise, Waterways of the Tsars, Moscow to St. Petersburg, was fabulous & JoAnne @ Acendas made sure everything went smoothly. Russia was immaculately clean with beautiful flowers everywhere and the people both on the boat & in the cities/towns were warm and friendly!!

Justine at Acendas Travel did an excellent job of scheduling our European trip. She listened to our requests and aligned the trip accordingly! All the bookings were in-line with our requests and the Arts & Leisure Tour services in Europe were exceptional! They made every event within the trip extra special!

We reached out to Colleen at Acendas upon recommendation of a friend when we began to plan for our honeymoon. She was very thorough and made the process extremely easy. She gave us several, well-researched destinations that fit within our budget and we ended up staying at Secrets Cap Cana in Punta Cana. The resort was simply fantastic as well as our experience working with Colleen. We will definitely be using Acendas to travel in the future!

I will be recommending Acendas to anyone planning a big trip for the foreseeable future. JoAnn was incredibly helpful and responsive when it came to our Honeymoon trip to the Caribbean. With all of the COVID restrictions we had a lot of questions and she was patient and insightful with all of her responses. She booked us an incredible trip and did all of the leg work so my wife and I could focus on planning our wedding. We will no doubt be using them again for future trips.

Have used Mai twice now with wonderful results! Our recent trip to Italy with a group of 7 was very well planned and exceeded our expectations! We will definitely use them for future travel.

I've worked with Lynna for years now.. 3 or 4 trips-- and she is wonderful to work with. Went on my first European river cruise last year and this year went on a cruise from Barcelona to Venice. She got us private tours for each day of our cruise and was very knowledgeable on how we can get the most bang for our buck. I would definitely continue to use Lynna and Acendas for travel in the future

I called when they were very busy so there was a long wait. However, I was able to leave a voicemail and they got back to me later. Booking my travel was very easy; the agent walked me through the whole process and helped me compare options over the phone. After confirming everything, an email with the travel itinerary was sent to me. The email was very helpful because it included hyperlinks to go to websites where I could track my flight(s) and check in before arriving to the airport. When one my flights was delayed (the airline’s fault), I was able to call Acendas’ “emergency line” and get ahold of an agent within the minute. They were able to ameliorate the issue very quickly and get me back on my travel plans. I highly recommend Acendas for travels as I will be looking to them in the future.

I usually take care of planning our vacations, but decided to use an expert on our European vacation. What a wonderful decision! Carol put us in the perfect hotels at each destination. She booked fun-filled excursions. The transportation she lined up for us was spot-on. We'll be using Acendas in the future! It made our trip easy and amazing.

Lynna Goldsby has planned four trips for me now. The last trip was a Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Venice with a three day add on in Barcelona and three days added at the end of the trip in Florence. Every day was planned with a private tour guide that was knowledgeable and and friendly. I would recommend Lynna for you next travel experience. She’s the best!

We just returned from two-weeks in Italy and Portugal and I can't imagine a more perfect trip! Every hotel that was chosen by Acendas (and their partner Europe Express) was absolutely wonderful, and it seemed we were also given special rooms/upgrades like a rooftop suite in Rome, a suite in Lisbon when we paid for a double room, etc. I am sure this was due to the relationships of the travel partners. Private transfers were also always timely and a wonderful welcome to a city, and the tours that were planned were led by experts (art history P.H.D. at the Vatican for example). Carol, our Acendas agent, was knowledgeable and patient in helping us decide how many places we could visit in two weeks, and in juggling changing airline schedules. I won't do another big/international trip without the help of Acendas!

The experience was so simple and better than I could have hoped for. This was my first experience using a travel agent, so I didn’t know what to expect, but JoAnne Weeks did a fantastic job! She was able to me help plan and book a last minute trip, and she went above and beyond! I’m not sure where I’ll travel next, but I know I’ll be using Acendas!

We were planning a trip to Hawaii and wanted to visit Maui and Kauai. Planning car rentals, hotels and flights between islands was becoming a task and a very expensive trip. I called Acendas and spoke to Christine Miller. It was a pleasure working with her and our vacation was perfectly planned and flawless. Her quote was actually lower that the quote we received from the website we used. I will, without a doubt, contact Acendas for my future trips and would recommend them to everyone.

My family and I had an amazing experience with Acendas. Ken Milans is by far the best travel agent. His attention to detail and recommendations are by far the greatest. I will be using Acendas and Ken in the very near future. We hope to travel to either Hawaii or somewhere in Europe next. We can’t thank you enough for making our vacation and experience superb.

Acendas travel was amazing from the greeting at the front door to the service we received leading up to, DURING and after our vacation. Cheryl Waag is the most thorough agent ever!
