El Toro Cafe

Just moved here and the owner was so nice. She brought us out this amazing cheese dip and some guacamole, both were really good. It’s a family run simple but good restaurant. Service and food was great! Thanks for making us feel right at home. Will be back soon!

I'm from Colorado...the best Mexican food ever comes from there. But here in Kansas I struggle to find yummy Mexican food. Here is my favorite...try the cheese enchiladas 😋 omg!! This place has delicious Mexican food.

I had not been here for over 30 years, and don't know why it took so long to return. The food is phenomenal and the staff are awesome!
You have to check them out for Taco Tuesday. $1.50 each, make sure to order the flour tacos.

Family owned. Authentic Mexican food served fresh to order. Very reasonable prices. A Newton Icon for decades. Waitstaff is excellent too. I make it a weekly destination to meet and eat with friends.

I absolutely love El Toro! Their food is prepared with love! Everything is so delicious, take your pick off the menu, 5 star!...one of my favorites is the cheese dip! It's a slice of heaven. Been eating their for over 30 years! Great family!

Great food every time! Very consistent, always taste amazing, never had a bad meal there. My family been going to El Toro for 50+year's! Hope it stays open for another 50 year's.

Great homemade Mexican food it's worth the wait. I have only one request, I love crunchy tacos if only they can make their own crunchy tacos instead of store bought crunchy tacos. Other than that everything is good and tasty.

I like their homemade flour tacos the best. The place is always clean. The same family has owned it for 40 years.
