Homer's Coffee House

Loved the Thai coffee, it was super sweet! Lots of places to sit. There are different snacks available, including fresh fruit and muffins! They have some gifts as well, I love the local chapstick I picked up- strawberry rhubarb scent!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I ordered a specialty coffee for my wife and I got an Americano, both were delicious. I also got a couple salted carmel bars and they were perfect. I could not describe a better coffee shop. If you're in the area make this a stop for sure.

The staff was super friendly. We only got drinks which were all very yummy. Hot chocolate for the kids and tea for the adults. We watched a couple of live musicians who were really talented. Overall it wasn't fancy, it didn't feel like they were trying hard for a specific atmosphere which actually made the atmosphere better. It was clean, well lit, and welcoming. Almost anyone could step in the door and feel comfortable.

It's quite busy during the morning, so you'll wanna bring head phones if you plan on doing focused work.

The coffee is good and they make it fast. I didn't even have time to unpack before they called my order out.

They have free wifi and don't severely cap the speeds either so you should be able to do meetings just fine if needed.

I like the atmosphere of the place, and the seating is very plentiful

Had lunch here today and it was a nice chance to try a new to me take on a grilled cheese. It was delicious

REALLY love this place! Great coffee & bakery goods! Wonderful staff! Great place for conversation when there is no live music... Also, fun venue for small live music groups!

Nice environment to relax in while listening to live music. Small venue for those of us overwhelmed by too much noise and crowds.

We loved the coffee and the pastries they had. Especially the expresso brownie. Also the live music was a bonus :)

Excellent coffee, great customer service and stellar ambience. They have amazing art work and believe truly in serving the best quality of coffee and food. I recommend this coffee shop 10/10. A must-go if you are in the downtown Overland Park area.
Bonus: They often have music nights on Friday and Saturday.

Super cute Cozy place to go on dates or do school work. Very nice staff and the food is really good especially their avocado club

My friend and I visit on a weekend. Loved the coffee and good choices, accommodating the dietary needs. The atmosphere is very peaceful and welcoming. Much boat local coffee shop.

*** Seasonal Update - Dec 2022 ***
Three flavors to try... Cinnamon Roll, Sugar Cookie, or Egg Nog Latte. We had the Sugar Cookie and Egg Nog...both good (this is Homer's, of course) but not as rich as we have had elsewhere. The Salted Caramel Bar...WOW...one of the best pastry/treat we have had.

Homer's is one of our favorite coffee houses. Today was an afternoon stop to have their amazing Mocha Freeze as an end-of-week treat.

Nice extra was live music with Kate Whitefield performing. Wonderful voice and guitar plus song selection.

A great place to go and get work done during the day. Even though it's busy, service is quick and there's always a place to sit that isn't too loud. They also have live music nights which are a blast!

Love the coffee! It's a charming coffee shop that quickly became a favorite. Very friendly staff, and consistently excellent brews make it a delightful spot. My only wish is that they were closer.
