Big Dave's Downtown Liquor

Someone made the mistake of getting me into bourbon and now I go to a lot of places seeking a new bottle. Stopped here after getting coffee at Homers. Love the small town feel to this area and Big Dave’s came through with this bottle. Cozy place, that’s very well stocked and taken care of. Owner(?) was very nice as well and offered to help if needed. Will definitely be back here when visiting OP

I vehemently disagree with "Matthew F"'s review of Big Dave's Downtown Liquor. Not only is it a great local liquor store but Carrie and staff are helpful and extremely friendly. It was in fact MY DOG that was in the store at the time of his review and she and multiple customers were excited to pet her. I respect a business that is "dog friendly" and consistently makes you feel like you are part of the neighborhood. We will continue to patronize this great business and hope all others will do the same. If you want escalated prices, no help and long check outlines... please go elsewhere.

Good prices good selection easy access. What more do you need.
Park across the street in lot if parking on the street is full. They may call tow truck but you can be in and out before tow truck shows up.

Full service liquor store. Great beer and wine selection too. Tuesday is 15% off wine. Beer is always cold.

Big Dave's is the best for beer and wine. Park in front, pop in, and the great customer service will find you what you want. There is no need to look through dozens of aisles looking for the best beer or wine selection. Big Dave's has only the best.

Owners are there often and are super friendly. They have a nice staff and a solid wine selection. Nice weekly specials. Perfect neighborhood liquor store.
