Hyundai Korean Restaurant

Small family owned Korean restaurant. I ordered bulgogi with rice and cucumber kimchi to go. The bulgogi was delicious. The cucumber kimchi had more fermented taste than I prefer. Friendly service.

Our team decided to order lunch in advance. I have heard so much about this place and was looking for an authentic Korea spot to try. I ordered the beef 🥩 bulging I lunch special, cucumber 🥒 kimchi and beef 🥟 Mandu.
The food was amazing, we ordered 8 different items and the representative over the phone was patient, got our order correct and over all was an amazing and delicious.

I’ve eaten at this place a few times. It’s authentic and really good Korean food! Highly recommend.

So nice to have a local Korean market and restaurant. It's small but all the essentials are available. The food was very delicious. I was pleasantly impressed with the kimchi stew!

One of our staple Korean joint. Food is tasty and well in par with one tasted in Korea. Most of the times we visited, it wasn't busy but food was always fresh. I like HotPot Bibimbap.

At first I was skeptical of this hole in the wall Korean spot downtown that my co-worker, Bliss, kept raving about… so she hooked me on the Kimchi Pancakes!!! She recommends the duck ’boat key’ and the beef ‘Bull go gee’ 😂 sorry I have no clue how to spell those plates atm and my thumbs are getting lazy. However… kimchi is like an Asian form of American sauerkraut (which I love!) but it’s a spicy mofo! My brother puts that’s siracha sauce on everything! But me, kimchi isn’t really my thing unless you mix it and fry it in a good old fashioned potato pancake!! This is probably my favorite dish to order in the whole city of Leavenworth, no joke.

A nice little place and the food was amazing. Nothing was too overwhelmingly spicy. My kids really enjoyed the chicken bulgogi (it does have spice to it) and their sides were delicious. Probably my new favorite spot to eat here in Leavenworth!

I have been eating here for more than 20 years the food is absolutely delicious well on par with the food I ate while stationed at Camp Casey Korea. You can get anything you would would get there the service is great and it has the feel of Korean culture all around you can even watch Korean tv while you eat

Food was perfect as well as very authentic! The service was extremely to-the-point and genuine, as well as the atmosphere. The store may not be peak condition or perfectly clean, but the entire place exudes a certain personality that is nigh impossible to replicate. Definitely a must for if you're visiting LV or are looking for something new.

This is a little gem to find near Fort Leavenworth. Literally about 1.25 miles from post. I went during the pre-lunch rush. Having lived in Korea, this little restaurant/store was a nice find. I ordered the spicey pork bulgogi and some beef mandu. The food came out hot and the side plates of the different kimchee and vegetables were delicious. For the location and I would say lack of competition, this hit the spot! I also ordered Galbi as takeout to for dinner. 🇰🇷

Hyundai Korean Restaurant is amazing. The food is authentic and tastes great, and the portuons are huge! The staff is so kind! We will definitely be going back again and again to try everything on the menu.

Very good Korean food. Prices a bit high but there not a lot of options for competition. Has very nice bimbinping in a hot pot to keep it cooking/warm the whole time while eating. Appetizers were good also and plentiful. Has a grocery store attached to the other side that you walk through to get to. Has many items to cook your own Korean dishes. Highly recommend it.

Excellent Korean food, likely one of the best that I've been to. Food tastes great and is affordable.

I have not eaten much Korean food over the years, but the next time I'm in Leavenworth I'm going back here. The food was excellent. The kimchi was excellent. So much flavor. I was very impressed.

Come early to beat the lunch crowd. Can call and order pickup as well.

Everything they have is tasty. They have canned soda.

I love this restaurant. The food is always fresh and amazing and the tteokbokki was the best I've ever had. The staff is always very friendly and the grocery store has a very diverse stock of everything including my favorite ramyeon! I couldn't find chapagetti anywhere! I definitely suggest Hyundai!

We were sooo hungry from running around today, and Korean food sounded perfected! Luckily for us, Hyundai Korean Restaurant didnt close for another 40min. Thank you to the entire staff for making us an amazing meal! It was so delicious!

Love this place. Food is great and the nostalgia is indescribable. Love getting groceries there too. Edit 4 years later: here is a picture of the food I get on a weekly basis. They have many great sauces from overseas and 4 kinds of kimchi. Radish, cabbage, green onion and chive.
