No-frills atmosphere with great food and very friendly service. We got the lunch special, beef tips in gravy with mashed potatoes, Texas toast, and green beans. It was excellent, with generous portions. Our server even got us to-go cups for our drinks. Will definitely be back!

It's a lot!!! The corn smelled really delicious, but I couldn't eat it because I was full. I will definitely eat it when I go next time! Yes, I will visit here again

Amazing home style food! Huge portions and great flavor. Oh and did I mention they have mountain oysters?!?? If you know, you know 😏 some of the best I've ever had!

We really like this place. The waitress was informative telling when and what they make on certain days. My fav sp spinach salad with steak hot bacon vinaigrette dressing oooh it was so right on.

New to the area looking for a restaurant with steaks. This establishment is a wonderful family owned business that had great friendly servers and fast delicious food. Brought my 7 year old and he enjoyed the activity mat and kids menu. They have signs up they will have limited closure in July to remodel. Would highly recommend.

It has been years since I have found a restaurant that I liked this much. I was excited to try it after friends told me about their visit. For my birthday we went there for dinner. We walked in and were seated immediately. Our server, Matt, was very attentive. He took all orders without writing them down and he got everything right!
For starters we had the onion rings. Very good. The salad we chose stands out from the rest. Spinach salad with hot dressing is a HUGE HIT. WE LOVED IT! We had rib eye, one of us had prime rib. It came with green beans, any type potato, and texas toast. All of the food was cooked properly, all of the food was so good! Matt continued to check on us but was not intrusive at all. Kept drinks filled. We are forever customers. Highly highly recommend this wonderful steak house!

We eat here almost every Saturday when we are in town to work the KC Renaissance Festival. We love this place! We have tried most of the things on the menu, and it is all yummy! I absolutely love the French onion soup! Service is great too!!

When I was there yesterday I arrived with my family after having a services for our families Matriach. They had no idea they were about to host a small party at 2pm. They were amazing and the food was great and the service was spectacular!! This place is full of true professionals in their field!! Thank you for the warm welcoming atmosphere and the great food!!

. Impromptu early birthday celebration, three first timers! Server Matt was attentive, anticipatory, friendly and had a memory like an elephant! We were lucky enough to land our first visit with prime rib night; steaks were all cooked as desired and green beans that threw me back to childhood. The birthday girl said the hot bacon spinach salad reminded her of her mother's recipe and loved the added shaved almonds. Every aspect of our experience was delightful. Ask for Matt as your server - disappointment is impossible as long as he's your waiter

We came in with a large group and our waitress handled us very timely and well. The food was excellent!

My friend and I had impeccable service and excellent food in this restaurant. I brought home half of my well made chicken fried steak meal. My friend had the chicken fried chicken meal. The picture shown is my take home box.

Fast service, friendly and spacious if you are trying to keep your distance from others. The clam chowder was good. Steak was great but the winner is the loaded baked potato. I would go back and I think most would find this place very pleasing. Its a good Sunday spot for lunch or dinner.

I love this place. Had lunch with my bestie, we were celebrating our birthdays. I had the homemade vegetable soup, and it was delicious! The special for that day was a salmon BLT sandwich on Texas toast! Man, it looked great! These guys never disappoint ❤ Thanks Dustin! You guys rock!

Small little hidden gem. Came today celebrating my brother birthday. This was my first time visiting. My mother and brother often told me how good the food was. Great customer service I must say. The person who sat us sung to him and gave a slice of cake. Our server continuously checked on the table doing a great job. Sorry, I forgot her name. Food came out hot and fresh. We all had fried chicken meals. The chicken was super crispy. Love the hummus with pita bread. Highly recommend ordering food Togo also.

Always love metropolitan steak house, especially on Friday and Saturday nights for Prime Rib. The creamy horse radish sauce is phenomenal.

What a pleasant surprise to find this gem in Leavenworth, KS across from the Big House! We had an amazingly delicious meal at the Metropolitan... Homey, friendly and awesome.

Awesome food and the staff is friendly. This is our go to date location on Fridays for the Prime Rib. Top notch steaks. Mushroom and artichoke side is excellent, too. Also love their portobella sandwiches.
