Chilli n Spice

I first went to Chilli n' Spice after reading some negative reviews on Urban Spoon and also reading the owner's response to those reviews. I wanted to give them a chance.
Absolutely delicious. The waiter was very attentive, the food was hot, generously proportioned and the most delicious Indian food I have ever had. I highly recommend the Butter Chicken. Their coffee was also very good. The restaurant was not crowded and has a very nice atmosphere.
The only mix up we had, was that I ordered Naan, but was served rice, instead, which I really liked, and I think is a better value than the naan anyway.
So please don't be swayed by any negative reviews. This place is amazing.

Certainly, the best Indian lunch buffet I had in the Kansas city. Their lunch menu is not very extensive but,the food items they serve is very good. I like their Sambhar even though it is a bit sweet by Indian standards. I like their Yogurt rice. They have a very good desserts.

For a price of 13$ (including tax), it is definitely a value for money!!

My wife and I stopped in here prior to some afternoon shopping - we were quite pleased with the food/quality and service! I see some reviews about the service but was asked at least twice if everything was good. Food was hot and unique to other Indian restaurants (nice to try new things) I will be coming back!

The Chicken Curry and the appetizers they serve are the best. The staff are patient and make us feel like home. The Lunch Buffet is economical with a wide range of varieties. Uthappam and idly with sambar are my personal favorites. I would like to recommend this place to everyone who wants to eat in a calm and neat environment.

Fantastic food - the gravies are rich and flavorful, and the meat is tender. The naan is the perfect combination of fluffy and chewy. The dine-in service lacks something to be desired, which is why we have learned to go with take out. I'm giving 5 stars purely for the quality & deliciousness of the food.

This is our go-to spot for Indian food. We usually get a couple of the vegetarian dinner dishes with rice and naan. I call it in or use the online ordering service to pickup. Never had an issue. The Veg Korma is our favorite as well as anything else with the butter sauce/gravy.

So nice to find some southern Indian food on a buffet in KC. Very friendly for vegtarians. Liked everything we tried, but liked the cabbage/lentil dish (dont know what it is called), the vadu, and the pongal so much.

The best South Indian food I have ever tasted in kansas and Missouri . Especially the fish curry and Chicken biryani tastes awesome . I was addicted to it . It is better place to taste the originality of the Indian food.

We go here every week these days... The service is ok (some friends tell me it used to be bad) but the taste is mind blowing awesome! Best chicken biryani ever...

Used to be the only Indian Buffet to go to, but now I think the management changed. When I went recently, taste and service changed. Did not like it much.

Ive been here several times and I've been to Indian many times so I know authentic Indian food and unlike other local indian fair the food was always fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Best south Indian food in town. We are new to KS and this is one of the best Indian restaurant in town. Dosa is amazing!!! Will be back for sure.

A good Indian restaurant in the whole city, with good menu and different buffet according to the day.. They also have good taste.

The food is so yummy that no other restaurant in kansas has that taste .Whenever i visit Kansas ill never go away without having food here.

There are items on the menu that I had never seen before and didn't even know how to eat! Delicious!
