I just had a great experience at the KU Med location at 107th and Nall. I was there for a catscan and labs. Catscan scheduled at 3. Then went directly to lab. I was done by 3:25. So efficient. I really appreciate it. Paula

Wonderful physician. Very short wait. Was able to have x-ray in suite eliminating need to go to another location.

Second year that physician of record has left Dermatology department. Also, second experience with ZERO follow through from scheduling. Physician states return in a year, check out, “we will call you to schedule your appointment as our system does not allow us to schedule out that far.”
Patient calls in, queries why they weren’t contacted, at the 1year, 3 month mark? “The patient was not sent to scheduling by office.”
Scheduler offers an appointment at 1 year 9 months after original appointment.

Do you understand the answer to your question? “Why would you go anywhere else?” Because you show zero care/concern for an existing patient!!

I'm sitting in the waiting room. We arrived for an 8 AM appointment at 8:20am. We have been told I can't be seen unless the 9am appointment does not show. This is a specialty referral with the neurology services at KU Med.
That obviously carries no weight. This us our first appointment at KU where we did not get a confirmation call
It's now 8:35am and no one else is in the waiting room.
We will post another comment when this is done playing out...

Well as we expected at 9:55 we were in formed the 9am patient arrived.
We are going to our original neurologist this afternoon and I am going to see if she can refer my to another specialist that I won't have to wait until November for an appointment
