Ichiban Japanese Restaurant

My kids had so much fun seeing the fire and eating their favorite foods. My only down side is they didn’t have a soy free soy sauce (my daughter is allergic. ) And most everything here has soy sauce. BUT they did their best to make something yummy she could eat which was very kind! Next time we will be trying hibachi bc my kids seemed VERY interested in the fire lol 🤣

Great Restaurant for value minded friends of the Japanese Cuisine! Price / Quality / serving size are well balanced and easy on your wallet.
The Sushi Rolls are also very delicious!

My daughter and I went here for dinner on a Monday night. We had to wait about 30 min for one of the hibachi tables, which was fine because they were pretty busy. The food and service were great! Had plenty to take home for leftovers. Sushi is pretty good as well. Will return!

We went here on new years eve. It was a nice place. Food was good, place was kept clean. Only part that was odd is that we were charged for asking for extra wasabi. Not a huge deal but it was the first place in my life where they charged for it. We dropped almost 300 bucks after food and tips. We love sushi💜 also the hibachi part looked cool but we did not partake in that. Would love to come back and try it. They had ponzu sauce which I've noticed allot of places here in the Midwest don't carry. Also the saki is a must. It's the smoothest saki I've had EVER (we had a flavored cold one) moon something was the brand or flavor.

This was our first visit, but won't be our last! We were impressed with our service, portion sizes, and prices. The steak and shrimp were hot with fresh vegetables and fried rice! The soup and salad were also delicious!

Got right in for our reservations and the sushi was to die for! So delicious 😋 highly recommend the spider roll. For a Friday night at 730 it wasn't packed. Food was good and had plenty to take home.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Wanted cooked sushi so waitress recommended a cooked sushi and it was very good. The show was also good. Will definitely come back over stix.

Best service I have received at a restaurant in the last 5 years, between Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, and South Korea. These people know what they are doing, made our night go from good to great. The chief was really good with my kids all three under the age of five. And the price was much lower then I expected, really a 5 star place to eat.

Such an amazing atmosphere. So glad to have this restaurant in my area. The staff is alway accommodating and the food is delicious!!!

Chose Ichiban Japanese Restaurant for our date night. This was our first time here, decided to sit in the main area instead of hibachi (although we would normally choose that) seating was quick, waitress was very polite. I found myself turning around alot watching the ppl at the hibachi area enjoying the theatrics of the chef. Very entertaining. We ordered a sushi appetizer (very pretty display) had salmon,tuna, and shrimp over rice. We ordered the Tempura and Steak Bento box. They started us off with a salad (with that amazing ginger dressing) and soup...not sure what kind it was..maybe miso? Delicious as well. Then the main course. Down side, we had to remind them that we ordered the appetizer, so it came after our food got there-- which meant we had been sitting there just waiting,instead of eating the appetizer. Either way, no harm, we ate and got full pretty quick, so had plenty of left overs!! Suggest you try the Bento box, it comes with a separate bowl of white rice...tempura shrimp and veggies,California rolls, we had the steak in ours. Very tasty. Thank you, we will definitely be coming back.

Ahi tuna appetizer was a excellent decision. Extremely healthy choice and very flavorful. A party in your mouth. Lansing best sushi in town. I will be back soon. I could smell the Hibachi from my table. Great many other choices. Friendly staff and quick service. Thank you.

The service was quick, polite and accurate. Usually an appetizer is small. Not here an appetizer order of calamari was huge. Well seasoned and flavorful. All for a very reasonable price.

Excellent food, very nice atmosphere. Came for a lunch date with my wife and the service was friendly and knew the menu really well. We had the lunch specials. I had the tuna avocado role with miso onion soup, my wife had the chicken teriyaki box with a salad. Everything tasted amazing, we’ll be back.

Service was great show was also very good. First time here, we will definitely come back.

Excelente for lunch. Good prices and friendly service. I order for lunch the boxes and have a little of everything. Is goos when you not sure about what order. Is just before arrive to Leavenworth Walmart. Im personally love the sushi and the sweet tea.
