I've been with this group for years. Dr Sherard is one of the best physicians I've ever had! His bedside manners are exceptional, and he always goes above and beyond all my expectations to meet my health care needs.

All of the receptionist and Dr. Cahill are the best. I had car trouble on the way to my appointment, so I decided to walk. When I got to overpass at 135th & 69Hwy, sidewalk was closed. I spoke with someone when I started walking to let them know I'm coming. Then talked to someone else when I got to sidewalk closed sign. Then another person when finally on my way in Uber. While seeing Dr. Cahill, she says "hmmm, I'm not sure what happened to the schedule. I told her it was me, I told her what happened and that the 3 ladies that answer the phones were great!!

My husband has been seeing Dr. Sherad for several years and he has always been so pleasant and professional. He is starting to take less patients because he plans on retiring soon and we are dreading finding another doctor to replace him!!

After being shuffled around by my insurance company, I was thrilled to find Antioch Family Care. They were able to see my sick son, a new patient, that very day. The ladies behind the desks were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Sherard was wonderful and thorough, but quick and concerned about not upsetting my sick son more with the presence of a stranger poking around on him. We have transfered the care of our whole family to the doctors there and are hoping for a long, productive relationship.

You are in good hands with Dr. Alisa Cahill and her staff. I came home feeling better than I have in a long time thanks to their care. Also, their new office space is easy to get to and very nice!

Dr. Riley is awsome. He delievered both of our children and is the doctor for our whole family. If you want a doctor who is actually going to spend more than 30 seconds shuffling you through an assembly line then this is the place to go.

Alisa Cahill is the bomb. People that have these bad reviews below, clearly need a different type of medical care to help them with their mental disorder.

Dr Sherard is the best there is. Been seeing him for 20 years and my children now see him as well. Wonderful doctor and friend!

I have been going to Antioch family care for over 6 years now. They are really good to accommodate you when you are sick and get you in soon. Dr. Cahill is my family's primary care physician. She is wonderful.

I do have one bad experience that I have recurrently had there. Any time I have a bacterial infection, I have a very hard time taking antibiotics. I was worked up for crohn's twice as a child because I have a very sensitive stomach. I have to do almost everything in the world to keep antibiotics down. This has been the fifth winter in a row where I got a bacterial infection that lasted for more than 2 weeks. I also have a little bit of reflux so coughing at night gets so bad, that I almost throw up the antibiotic. This is obviously not good for me, but also it's bad for the entire community because bugs are probably becoming resistant to antibiotics. This time I have been sick for over two weeks and I have completed one round of Tessalon Perles (benzonatate) and I have tried EVERYTHING over the counter for my cough. Also, because of my cough, I have not slept through the night since christmas. I have had to take a break from school, because this cough has given me such a hard time. Most nights, I only sleep 2-3 hours because the cough gets so bad with the reflux. Melatonin and other OTC sleep medication has not helped.

For the past 3 years, I go and see Dr. Cahill, and she prescribes these perles and they don't work. They help during the day but they truly don't help me at night. I always still take it and wait to see if they are working this time, and then I call back and ask for help. For the past 3 years, I usually have to go see another doctor who is more sympathetic to my situation and willing to prescribe me cough syrup.

I absolutely hate asking for it, because it makes me very dehydrated, but I will do anything to be able to not cough the entire night so I can get at least six hours of sleep in. It's just been frustrating because this time I called once, and she recommended I take an OTC anti-nausea medication
to keep the antibiotic down. This was so hard for me because I had already told her I have tried EVERYTHING OVER THE COUNTER to keep the antibiotic down. Not to mention, how would you feel if you had to suddenly be on 4 medications a day? I called again, and she said I should take delsym EVEN THOUGH I HAD TOLD HER AND HER NURSES THAT I HAVE TAKEN EVERYTHING OVER THE COUNTER.

I don't think i'm asking for much. I truly don't mean to single out anyone here. This is something I went through for years before deciding to post about it. I just want someone to empathize what it feels like to not be able to sleep for more than half of a month, specially for someone who doesn't have sleep problems.

I'm a medical student and I can see how my story falls on ears that have heard a thousand stories about people getting sick in the winter. But again, I just want my doctor to try to understand the financial burden of taking a break from school and consequence a bad cough has had on me because of not being able to sleep for more 2 weeks.

Dr. Reily is good but he has been telling me the wrong information and solutions about my 10 month old son's ezcema and it got so bad that we freaked out (1st time parents) cuz his face was leaking clear liquid and went to Children's Mercy. The receptionist is always rude when I call to make an appointment or I have to reschedule and their building has bugs in it. I went to the restroom and there were ants and a few other types of bugs that I can't identify all over. I wish I could switch doctors but I'm in a difficult situation and can't.

As a long term patient of Dr. Cahill’s, it used to be very easy to have refills and paperwork completed, that’s changed in the last year or so. Dr. Cahill had always been very willing to empathize and work with me on my medical needs but no longer. I will be looking elsewhere for a primary provider and will no longer refer her as a loving, caring provider.
