Nice friendly place to eat at. Have not found a favorite food yet, it is all so good.

Cute stop in Wamego! Great menu. Had a hard time deciding on what to get. Went with the ghetto wrap. Fast service. Friendly staff.

Great service and super clean! The menu is huge and everything looks great so it made decisions tough. The Italian stallion with cheese corn was delicious!

As part of a recent weekend float trip on the Kaw River from Wamego down to Belvue, I gave Barleycorn's menu a test. Saturday morning at home I had skipped breakfast, so I was pretty hungry come noon. For lunch, then, I ordered two things off their menu that I'd never eaten before -- their Smoked Turkey sandwich and their Queso Blanco appetizer. Both were very good.

Before leaving Barleycorn's and heading to the Wamego river access to commence our float trip, I ordered a takeout item -- their Italian Stallion wrap. The takeout box, I laid it atop the ice in my cooler and enjoyed that wrap for my evening din-din at camp. I must say: their Italian Stallion wrap is shockingly delicious. I had been concerned that it might get soggy and not hold together (given that it took us four hours to paddle downriver to our sandbar campsite). But when I opened the box it was in perfect condition.

Sunday we reached Belvue takeout ramp nine miles downriver. After completing our return shuttle to Wamego our paddling group went right back to Barleycorn's for Sunday lunch. This time I ordered their Italian Chopped Salad and it was good.

So overall I had four different menu items in two days time, and each one was excellent. Barleycorn's is a good place to get something really tasty to eat.

Take out order was fresh and very tasty. Really liked the warm potato salad.

This is a sweet Main Street deli in Wamego, KS. I had a Mafioso sandwich (their version of an Italian) and it was delicious. The side of Chessy Cron was also especially yummy. They have local beer on draft too! I found the people to be nice and the food well worth it!

I had a wonderful time at Barleycorn's Downtown Deli! I went with just one other person on a Thursday night, and there were only about four tables taken. The waitress who took care of us was super kind and prompt, and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the menu. I was considering the Mafioso, but her recommendation of the brisket was extremely apt. It was delicious! The brisket was delectable, there were a perfect amount of onions on it, and the bread was soft and light. Not to mention the coffee was excellent, for only a dollar. Run, don't walk, to Barleycorn's!

Great BBQ and atmosphere! Gotta try their smoked beans. They have little chunks of brisket in them. Yum!

They have a great order online and pick up service with chownow. Food was ready in less than 15 minutes. I got the Cowboy Wrap which is big with a generous portion of roast beef and a side included. It does come cold, but I popped mine in the microwave for a minute and it was perfect for dinner. Someone getting lunch might prefer it cold. Drinks are fountain. Nice pickle spear. Prices are right. Altogether a good experience.

Really good bbq! I tried the smoked brisket sandwich, the rominiski 3, the devils tail, and the uptown sub, they were all really good! Would definitely recommend the cold potato salad. Our waitress was sweet and patient even though we had a large group with children.

AMAZING food, only complaint would be the last 2 times me and my friends have been there, at least one of us have found a hair in our food. it was met with an apology and a fresh plate made immediately. definitely will be going back whenever I am back around this area and I highly recommend to anyone in the area

Absolutely loved this place! Ghetto wrap was fantastic and staff was super friendly. They let us taste test a couple beers so we could find what we really liked. Great service and great food. We will definitely be back!

Have cooked in BBQ competitions with success at both the American Royal and Lenexa BBQ Battle so I feel I know my BBQ. Tried three meats, brisket, pork and jalapeno sausage and all three were way above average with the brisket being some of the best I have ever experienced commercially. Warm potato salad different and wonderful, baked beans (smoked) had a very pronounced smoke flavor which was a bit much for my personal taste but have had so many that say are smoked and you cannot tell that if it is your thing I know you will love it. Staff VERY accommodating, quick service and excellent food. This place could compete in a city of any size but for a small town in Kansas it is off scale.

My roommate and I had Covid and they were amazing and brought our pickup order to our car and put it in our truck. So nice! The food is also delicious!

Freshest food in Wamego. Cozy place. Great beer selection. Everything on the menu is amazing; only thing I didn't care for was the super bowl nachos. Their chips and queso are great though.

The staff are very friendly and whatever you get on the menu is very good, especially those Super Bowl Nachos! Glad to have this place in town.

I love this place. Best bbq around! I need to remember to just get a half order! Very filling! Good prices and service. I will be back.

They made me a really great sandwich, but honestly, it's the server behind the bar that I'd go back for—attractive and friendly. Such a delight in the middle of a cold and lonely road trip.
