Martinelli's Little Italy

Visiting from Oklahoma and decided to give them a try. Glad we did the place is great. Food, service, atmosphere all top grade.

Fantastic. Worth the hour on our way to CO. Chicken parm was actual chicken. Everything was great. 2024 update - still going strong but miss the York Peppermint Patties at the door.

My parents and I ate here and all tried different pasta dishes. The pasta was excellent, one of the best versions of spaghetti and meatballs I've had. I also tried the minestrone soup (which was good) and the broccoli (which was ok, but significantly more cooked than I'm used to when I order steamed broccoli). My father and I both have unusual dietary restrictions, and the staff was very willing to accommodate us and help us find things we could eat with minor modifications.

Delicious! I got the Tortellini with pink sauce, next time I will just get white but it was all still so good. Of course I had to get a cannoli and I’m glad I did.

Love this place and eat here every time we pass through Kansas. Idk what happened to my old reviews of this place, but I have never given this place less than ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 😋😋

We are here the first time when my son lives in Salina around 12 years ago. They offered gf pasta and Italian food is by far my favorite so, it was a shoe in. I was so impressed with the selections they had I ordered a few 1/4 meals and I was blown away by the proportions, taste, and the fact that they bring out extra sauce with the meals. I ate leftovers for days. 😋😋😋😋😋

As for my favorite dishes, it's hard to pick one. Everything I have eaten her has been fantastic! My most recent visit I got pesto and the sauce was so fresh I could really taste the basil. I also ordered a side of broccoli in a lemon sauce and my dining companion ordered a meatball and manicotti I believe.

Amazing Italian food (he had the tomato lettuce salad and sampler appetizer), friendly service, affordable price, loved it!! 😊

Paige and Hailey were dynamite. Celebrating a late birthday solo ( it is what it is). Attentive kind generous. Had 2 soups, quarter pasta meatball salmon and salad. Able to lose weight and eat hearty. Thank you for a special birthday will be back again 💓 💛 ❤

My wife and I stopped in and the food was amazing. They have quite a few gluten free options and the vermicelli was the best gluten free pasta option I have tried so far. Our server Paige was amazing and we will definitely be coming back to try the gluten free pizza because of her recommendation.

Some of the best Italian I've had, and I've been to Rome! Their portion sizes are big enough to have leftovers the next day, and their sauce is perfect. They have a pretty good selection of wine and other adult beverages. One of the only restaurants in Kansas who not only knows what an affogato is, but also serves it. I will definitely be a repeat customer. 10/10

As someone who grew up in St. Louis it kind of hurts my pride to say Martinelli’s does St. Louis pizza better than St. Louis. That being said the service was spot on the staff are friendly. The food is great

What a nice surprise. Out on a 2 week adventure and on the last night before making it home, we find this gem in the middle of Kansas. We are from Saint Louis and eat Italian on The Hill regularly, so we have our share of great Italian available, so we were awaiting to see how this matched up.
Tate, our server, was excellent and took care of us like "family." I started with the house chopped salad which had a nice blend of blue cheese and house dressing. For my main course, I had the Pesto Shrimp pasta, which Tate recommended, and it was seasoned to perfection. Just enough pesto blended with the cream sauce to form the perfect combination of flavors. Add in the shrimp viola!
My partner had the Ceaser, which he said met his expectation, and for his main, he had spaghetti with a meat ball that could have been a meal. The meat ball was definitely up there with the best i have had.
So if you are in Salina KS and want a delicious Italian meal, give Martinelli's Little Italy a go. You will not be disappointed.

Today was my very first time eating at Martinell's Little Italy in Salina, Kansas. Cathy, David, and I all truly enjoyed our time there. The food was awesome. The atmosphere was fabulous. And the service was fantastic. I even ordered 50 fresh Cannolis to take to church in the morning. It was well worth the drive from Wichita, Kansas to eat there. I strongly recommend eating at Martinell's Little Italy in Salina, Kansas. Keep up the amazing work. May God bless you always.!

Perfection from the moment we walked in. Seated immediately and drinks within a minute. Our waiter took or order and we had our meals in less than six minutes from our entry. Beautiful table settings and drapes with waiters dressed for the ambiance. A gem in a small town!

Outstanding service. Outstanding food. The wife's chicken marsala was melt in your mouth great and my beef ravioli was fantastic. The sugo was very flavorful and the toasted beef ravioli tasted like it came from "The Hill". We will definitely return anytime we're in the area! And the owner, Tony was delightful! Wonderful experience all around!

I was there to attend Salina Central Highschool's Thespian Club induction and award ceremony. (to support My youngest daughter, a freshman was inducted into The Thespian Club) Just as I had remembered their Chicken Alfredo (large banquet room) was 10/10 as was the huge slice of super creamy New York style cheesecake!

My husband was recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance. The transition to find good food has been incredibly hard and we were incredibly excited to find this gem of a restrunt here in Salina while we were in town. The gluten free menu was provided on the table even without asking. The food was absolutely delicious, there was a great verity of gluten free options, including noodles!! Phenomenal ingredents and taste. The service was phenomenal. Paige was incredibly attentive and caring and made our experience one in a million. She always came back to make sure we were doing ok, pored extra wine and was so personable. (Also really recommend going on wine Wednesday! 1/2 huge bottle of wine really made us enjoy the evening and food) The owner/ manager was great. Always checking in on us as well. We will definitely be coming back here anytime we are in town!!! Thank you for making us feel welcomed!

Super nice atmosphere. Excellent service & friendly staff. Martinelli pasta, lasagna, chicken parm....all fantastic. Cheesecake and cannoli are also excellent (got them to-go). We were traveling through on Friday, they were busy but seated us quickly so we could get on the road. Food was quick and was great!

Wife and I drove 90 miles up from Wichita to try this out. Very much worth the drive… the portions were huge, staff was extremely attentive, and the price was well worth it. We each got a half order to take half home. This will absolutely be a monthly drive for us.

Wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. We ordered chopped chicken salad and pizza. Best pizza in town. Generous toppings and crisp crust. Our waitress Paige was a delight as always!
