Very friendly, clean and the best chicken fried chicken I've ever had. Everyone was slammed on Mother's Day and I called them, they offered to put me on the wait list and got us in and fed quickly. Highly recommend!!

A fantastic small restaurant!!! First time enjoying Egg Crate and off the bat our server was amazing. Misty has phenomenal service and kept us informed even while being busy. The service that was provided is what keeps me coming back for more!! The food was great and having my coffee topped off without even having to ask, top tier!! Love it!! Wish there was a way to give Ten Stars!!

On mothers day. As hectic as it was... I loved this place. My one complaint being that my food was mostly lukewarm, delicious, but lukewarm. I am 100% going to chalk this up to the fact that it was mothers day and they were absolutely packed. I had the chicken fried steak, potatoes and onions, english muffin and the most amazing cinnamon roll I've ever eaten. The portions were enormous and our server was attentive and got everything right. If my food would have been hot it would easily be in my top 10. I will return soon and have a good feeling that everything will be great.

OMFG the food at this place is freaking delicious!! The best sausage gravy I have ever had & I’m very picky when it comes to gravy. The burritos are also delicious & so are the hash browns. We all loved everything we ate!! So so good!!

My husband and I were looking to try a new place for breakfast, and I am SO glad that we did. The service was great even with it being so busy (and I overheard that the other hostess that was supposed to be there was late, so they really were doing a great job.) Food was pretty good, but the pancakes, OH, the pancakes... some of the best I've ever had. Fluffy, warm, vanilla-y, just incredible. Highly recommend, will come again.

The personal us really friendly, they have good knowledge of the menu, it is a breakfast like the big brands but owned and operated by locals, there is room to improve on the taste side but overall I'm really happy whit what I got from the place.
Price is right and the serving size is big.

This place is amazing! We walked in and were greeted by the friendliest hostess. We had a large party, and she constantly was looking to find a table large enough to accommodate us.
Our waitress was fantastic! She was there when we needed her, and we needed a lot due to having to young children-dropped utensils, extra napkins, etc.
We sampled a wide array of foods: biscuits and gravy(super fluffy), cinnamon rolls(soft, cinnamony and great icing), lemon blueberry pancakes(my favorite!), eggs(fluffy), bacon(delicious), chicken fried steak(perfectly seasoned), fried potatoes(great seasoning), French toast(so yummy!), and very fresh fruit.
My niece was dressed in Minnie Mouse, so the hostess made sure we ordered the Minnie Mouse pancake.
Breakfast is my favorite meal and the Egg Crate Cafe is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had.
It's so hard to find great food and friendly staff in this day and age, and the Egg Crate Cafe has both!

Wow!!! Finally a place with good biscuits and gravy that are hot and tasty!!! Everything we had was absolutely delicious. You can tell the ingredients are good and the food is made with some love. So glad I finally tried this place and can't wait to come back.

I was here solo on an extra cold Friday. There’s plenty of parking outside. And I was seated pretty quickly in a booth. The bar does have open seating in case it’s busy. The decor is nice, likely an inspiration for home goods stores in other cities :)

My server was very friendly and exuded the positive energy that makes your day. The coffee was hot and tasty. The French toast was fluffy and done right. It’s a big serving though. I had poached eggs and they were done well.

Overall I had a great breakfast here. And will be make if I am in town again.

I went in on a Thursday at 10am. I was seated almost immediately by the friendly staff. My waitress was very nice and kept my coffee cup full constantly. I got the waffle and eggs with bacon. I added cheddar cheese on my eggs and it was perfection! The atmosphere was good, the radio was playing quietly in the background, the staff communicated well and with a wonderful southern feeling friendliness. I loved it and highly recommend it.

You won't leave here hungry, everything comes super sized at very reasonable prices. The food was great and the service was excellent.

This place makes me feel right at home. I love the atmosphere and the vibe. It's a cozy place with cute girls that work there:) . Service was great and the food very good and satisfying. I always get so full and pay a great price. I honestly recommend this place but I don't want everyone and they mama going there that it will be packed and it won't ever feel the same. Either way I'd still go. Who am I kidding 😂😂😂. I recommend the Pork chops. OMG.

Good quality and Lord knows, a lot of food. I like the Country Fried Steak breakfast. They keep your coffee cup full. Very good service.

This place was an eggs-cellent find! The staff is unbelievably friendly, the portions are very generous and the price is great! They've earned a coupled of repeat customers for sure!

Excellent service. Wait time was a little long but they were extremely busy and it’s easy to see why. The food was great! Probably some of the best breakfast food I’ve had in Wichita. Had a small town diner feel to it.

This place is always busy, and it is always worth the wait! The staff is always so sweet. Every so often, we'll get a server who obviously has better things to do, but what place doesn't have at least one? The food is stellar, the staff is sweet and attentive, and if your server drops the ball, there is always someone else willing to get you fixed up with a smile. My family and I love "The Coop," which is a room for a large party. We have several little ones that make a lot of noise, mess, and are a handful. It's great to be able to go in there, close the door, and feel like you're home with amazing food. Can't say enough great things about this place.

Our food was tasty, hot, and promptly served. I had breakfast. Two family members had full meals (chicken tenders for one and steak for one). Everything was great. This was our first visit but not our last.
