Papa's General Store

A highlight of Clifton Square in College Hill, on East Douglas and Clifton Avenue. This is an awesome drink and dessert destination with a highly engaging and helpful staff. Here visitors will find plenty of premium shake and ice cream options, along with espresso and soda creations, all making up a sweet menu that has something for everyone. It gets even better with the upstairs part of Papa’s, where there is a gaming room set up with tables and board games, along with socks, stickers, and magnets for sale. There’s even a great patio outside, making this place loaded with spots to enjoy a treat with friends and family. I highly recommend Papa’s General Store to all of Wichita.

Papa’s General Store is a unique place and such a hidden gem! I love coming here to study or to meet up with friends to play games. They have a vast selection of board games and card games as well as funky sock collections too.

Their ice cream is delicious, I love getting the Moose Tracks. I’ve never seen a place that serves liquor in their milkshakes too so that’s a great addition. It’s a fun spot for family and friends and I definitely recommend visiting at least once!

Went in last night after a super long day with my kiddos, and was BLOWN AWAY with how amazing this place was. Not only were the shakes absolutely amazing, the staff was as well. Amazing experience and I will definitely go back when I'm in the area again 🥰

I am so glad I found papas, IM IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE ! I took my husband on a little date here & man the ice cream was so filling especially with our little shots of liquor in there. 🤞🏽 I don’t like ice cream at all but I love this place and their ice cream extravaganzas are just amazing ! Take your kids they have a whole upstairs just for kids with games and coloring stuff. They have cool stickers and nick jacks ❤ & relax my son was eating the foam placed on top of the ice cream not the actual ice cream filled with liquor 😊

We always love the ice cream at Papa’s and their variety of cone flavors. This time we tried the Extreme Shake. It was big enough for two kids to split, but I saw a lot of adults eating one by themselves. Such a unique dessert item, and many options to choose from!

Such a cute shop! The coffee is delicious, the hot dogs are good, the ambience is great for homework, and the game room looks like a blast! There are an amazing amount of fun novelty socks, too! Definitely can’t wait to try the ice cream and cereal bars!

This is THE place for ultimate shakes and ice-cream concoctions, the flavors of the ice cream are so good! They have so many different add-ins and the cereal bar is really fun! It has a cute interior too, a fun place for kids and adults.

It did not disappoint! Loved the ice cream and different flavored cones! The Ice Cream Nachos are a must to share.

We love stopping here when we are in Wichita! Mom and dad get coffee and the kids get ice cream!!!

this place is pretty cool, staff were very kind. Place was packed when we went. Came here after eating at Dempseys. I had a midnight vanilla cone with the white chocolate raspberry ice cream and the rainbow sorbet. I would def recommend the white chocolate! It tasted amazing!! 🤤🤨

I love this ice cream shop. But they don't just stop with ice cream. They have an array of different coffees and drinks that they make. They also have a cereal bar!!!!!!!!! I'm not even a fan of cereal but it's so cool to look at all the cereals that you used to eat as a kid. Upstairs, you will find the merch. Tons of socks and magnets!!! There's board games to play if you want to hang out. I love the vintage motif. This place is a must stop.

took my kiddos here today, super cute how they've redone everything. major upgrades and it's a super fun atmosphere. I hadn't been in 2 years and I'm wowed. it's cool! great ice cream 🍦 😋

Awesome milkshakes and ice cream.

So good! My first time, there was more seating upstairs. The ladies were so kind. Leave the cups on the counter that's by the stairs. Definitely coming again!

Cute little coffee and classic milkshake shop, featuring a fun sock novelty store in the upstairs area. The seating is designed like you’re going to papa’s cabin, very inviting and cozy. Needing something a little more classic? Why not sit at the milkshake counter and watch some classic black and white cartoons.

My favorite part was getting my dogs face printed onto the top of my coffee! They offer this service for free.

The barista was exceptional!

They have a lot to choose from, multiple kinds of shakes, including cereal shakes, a ton of waffle cones in various flavors to choose from, as well. I had the Caramel Cheesecake shake and it was phenomenal. I will definitely be back to try more.

Ice cream lovers, I have found your next spot to treat that sweet tooth. They have so many crazy mixtures of flavors, sweets and CEREALS. Did I mention they have a cereal bar? I got a cinnamon toast crunch love shake, and it was delicious!! Would definitely get again. Though I also want to try their mermaid shake!! 🧜‍♀ Come check them out!

This place is amazing! The shakes are awesome (but they can be ALOT to handle if you are not prepared, come in ready) and the joint is small but super charming. The selection of ice cream and shakes was very good and everything is super novel so we definitely enjoyed and will be back!
