Great food and atmosphere! Best salsa in town! I really enjoyed the food and amazing service. We went for an early dinner so they weren't busy, but wonderful service all around. I enjoyed my shredded beef, soft taco. I recommend this menu item as well as the cheese dip! My daughter enjoyed her cheese quesadilla, as well. Very nice sitting area that can accommodate larger groups.

I have been twice now and the food is really good! For a first try I suggest getting the sampler plate. Sounds cliche, but it really did give a taste of each of their meats and different authentic Mexican dishes. If you’re looking for typical Mexican American food like we get from all of the chain restaurants here in town, you’re in the wrong place. Family run business by local people. They have a delicious bean dip that they serve along with their salsa, which is a nice change of pace. Very clean place, very friendly staff, all around good experience!

Every traditional mexican restaurant has their own twist authenticity. Rancho Nuevo is no exception to that. This place reminded me of Grandma Nelly's kitchen (House Chicken Noodle)! The menu is HUGE! The food was served hot, fresh in a timely manner and the atomphere was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this for a traditional taste if you got a craving and happen to be in the area.

Awesome food. This restaurant needs to stay in Wichita. Steak fajitas were tender and filled with awesome flavor. Excellent prices and very nice atmosphere. They also have a bar, television's and family friendly.

Chimichangas are Really Good. Great Mexican food! Food tasted great and our server was Super Friendly and nice. Glad to find a great place with Authentic Mexican food over on the Westside. Nice sit down place to have dinner or lunch, with the Family or friends. Their Strawberry Margarita was good. And the Medium was as good size drink. Can't imagine what the large would be. Chips & Salsa & Bean dip was yummy. We had a group of 6 and were seated promptly. The service was excellent. We had Asada Taco's ,Enchiladas and Chicken chimichangas and a kids Quesadilla with beans.And since it was Mother's Day they gave Mom a Free dessert. I picked the Churros so good! This will definitely be place we will return to. Keep up the Great Service.

When I walked in I was greeted by the friendly staff. They brought out chips, salsa and bean dip. The bean dip was good and their salsa was some of the best I've had. (I forgot to take a picture before I started in on the chips and salsa.) :)

I loved the guacamole I ordered on the side. Recently I've visited places where the guacamole tastes like it has been sitting in the fridge awhile. This tasted so fresh and creamy! I ordered three of their street tacos- asada, carnitas and pastor. All three come with onions and cilantro. The carnitas was my favorite- the meat was juicy with a little crispness on the edges and great flavor. The asada had good flavor but was a little dry. The pastor was also juicy and tender and had good flavor.

I'm a huge fan of a good chimichanga. Not every chimi is made equally. This one came out crispy, with a good balance of meat in it, not over stuffed or under. The rice and beans are both pretty good, but the sauce is what made it so delicious! The chips and salsa brought out when you arrive are great thin home style that came out warm and crispy. The salsa was mild at best but I thought had good flavor. Definitely a great choice for some Mexican on the northwest side of town!

Holy smokes this place is amazing. Authentic Mexican food full of flavor! Portions are large for the price. Our waitress Elia was amazingly friendly, she made us feel warm and comfortable. The restaurant is clean and well lit. This will be a routine stop for Mexican food from now on!

A really nice place we just found around the corner! A little hidden, but look for the tag office they're right next to it. My margarita was fantastic and so far the food is fantastic. All very authentic and family owned, support local and give them a try!

The staff are incredible. The food is 100% fresh! All-in-all a perfect place to have authentic Mexican food and a nice relaxing evening.

We just went here for the first time at the recommendation of a friend who visits often, and we were not disappointed! Our server was wonderful and helpful and the food was delicious. Since it was my first time there, I had the sampler, all beef. I expected ground beef, but was surprised when it came out it was delicious, shredded beef, and there was a ton of it. Everything was great, from the salsa, to the bean dip, to the chips, to the service. I also really enjoyed the rice and beans served with the meal, which usually isn't my favorite thing. We can't wait to go back. I'll get pictures next time!

We stumbled on this restaurant on 12/20/20, late in the evening about an hour before they closed. Having never been here before we found the atmosphere more familial than i would expect. Instead of a menu there where people lined up for a seemingly adhoc buffet. We collected our food not knowing what the price was. The food was fabulous! Absolutely wonderful! The staff was kind but busy. When we finished eating the delicious food we went up to pay. We waited at the front counter for a while till a staff member came up and asked us what we needed. We told her we wanted to pay for three buffets. She explained "No no, this it for you!" IT WAS FREE! I was shocked in the best possible way. This is abnormal, apparently this was only the second time they have served this way. They made a loyal customer out of me and my wife in one meal. What a beautiful thing!

Great food ! The portions are generous; flavor is excellent. They also provide a bean dip with the standard chips and salsa at the beginning. Forget chain restaurants. This is a local gem that beats them all. We have returned twice in less than a month with friends who agree this place is a must! They even have tamales on the menu.

Excellent food & service! Several friends & I went for lunch on a Saturday, & were so impressed. I had the double chicken enchilada combo, which had the tastiest chicken I have ever had in an enchilada. The chips, salsa & bean dip were also delicious. I will be back!

I never leave reviews but I had to for this wonderful restaurant. Service was a everything you could ask for. Food was impeccable and very fast. We had a pretty customized order and the food was brought out exactly as ordered. I will definitely be back because their are plenty of dishes to try.

Tried this place for the first time today for lunch. Wow! Amazing 🥰 had the carnitas and steak tacos. Salsa was incredible. Wished they had chicken mole - I'm sure it would be amazing too (please add!). Service was wonderful. We will be back!

Very authentic Mexican food. Family owned and operated. Father is the chef, son and wife staff the restaurant. They are gracious hosts. They have added a new soup which they gave me a small cup of. A chicken base soup that was somewhat reminiscient of minestrone. It was delicious. Their chips are homemade, thin and crispy and salted perfectly. The salsa is homemade and adds a pleasant zing to the tongue without melting it. They also have a dip made of beans I enjoyed very much. This was my second trip and I will return.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. We got right in with a party of 9 on a Saturday night. The food quality and service were great. They even give you bean dip with your chips. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Delicious. Had #8 combo and Chili Colorado and cheese dip. Everything was very good. Rice and beans were excellent. The beef in the chili Colorado was very tender and not to spicy. Will definitely go again soon.
