Felipe's has been a cherished part of my family's life for generations. I have fond memories of dining here as a child, and now, I'm delighted to continue the tradition with my own children on a weekly basis.

Great food, clean bathroom, excellent service. Good place for a family outing or a margarita with friends.

After trying to find a decent Mexican style restaurant on this side of town we finally came across this place on our lists. After the flavor disaster that was O'Kellys, this place was a breath of fresh air. Table side was a decent bowl of chips and two kinds of salsa, hot and mild. Drinks were extremely tasty and well garnished. I got a pollo plate and the wife got the Mayan enchilada.

The tomatillo sauce was bright, acidic, but tastey, chicken inside was flavorful and well packed. The cheese sauce was distinct, blending well with the rice. Chicken was well seasoned, a little tough, but it was the only low point of the meal. Tortillas are bought in, HOWEVER they are bought in from a local bakery and feel like an actual tortilla, not a cheap grocery store tortilla.

We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Also they sell to go margaritas in bottles which is neat.

I haven't been to the 21st and Woodlawn location in many, many years. The last time I was there it was a dark, unappealing place. I dislike very much eating in dark and dismal places; particularly, if it's dingy during the day. However, I tagged along on a birthday dinner on Dec 27th (their favorite place) and was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised by the cheery and comfortable environment. The decor was tasteful and the holiday decorations fun. I couldn't remember my years-ago impression of the food because the atmosphere overshadowed my meals then. But I certainly remember my delicious food this time as well as my experience. My mom happens to like Felipe's as well. I think I'll ask her if she wants to go this evening. She'll be shocked. I've been declining for over a decade.

Food was wonderful, as always. It was very busy when we went, but the food was served in a reasonable time given the huge amount of people. I've never seen it so packed. The word must be getting around.

The food is good!! The fried ice cream was great fun ! It can get pretty busy especially on the weekends but I'm here on a wed. So its busy but not too busy.

My all time favorite restaurant. Always great food and service. If you’ve got the time check out their world class tequila selection.

This was our first visit to Felipe’s and I have to say, we were thoroughly impressed! The menu was extensive and the food was fabulous! We also ordered the diamond margarita off of the recommendation of some friends and it did not disappoint. We can’t wait to go back for more great food and drinks!

My wife and I only eat out once a month. When we do, there's no question where we're going. Food and cocktails are the best in town and the family that runs this restaurant are warm, inviting, funny, and make you feel like you're part of their family!

Hand down absolutely amazing food! The burritos are top notch! I would recommend the chili verde, the pork that's in it, on everything... It's that good! Their queso sauce is exquisite just absolutely all around amazing place to eat. I recommend this place tenfold to anybody and everybody who loves Mexican restaurants...the chef and the staff are fabulous!!!!

Salsa was delicious, however the enchiladas could have had more sauce.

At 1st we were seated at a rather small table and had 2 Small children. This resulted in a spelled drink. The staff was very good about coming to clean it up and moved us to a different table while they did the clean up and they gave us a much larger. Table which was very helpful I always ordered something different when I go there just. To try new things have not had a bad meal there yet this last time I had the sancho. Which was really really good?

Hands down the best family owned restaurant in town! They truly care about their customers. Their staff will blow you away with their service and if you are a repeat customer, you will be treated like royalty. This is the best of locally owned businesses in Wichita!

We were seated right away. As an appetizer, we had my favorite, queso verde. The rich flavor and tender chunks of pork are amazing. The fried flour tacos and tamales are consistent and wonderful. Service was good and prices comparable.

Felipe’s Mexican Restaurant is a great place to enjoy Mexican food with an extensive menu and a full array of drinks with Margaritas as a house specialty. Generous portions- I give them5 stars!

I've been dining at Felipe's for more than 30 years. Food is always excellent, service is fast and friendly and atmosphere is always festive. Keep up the good work!
