Nick’s Barber Shop

First time going to Nick and it's well worth it! Haircut and bears trim were top notch! Definitely going back!

I'm giving this 5 stars because that's the max. I saw Nick tell a guy that if he wants his beard to grow not to trim it. He isn't just chasing money. I moved over 500 miles away. This is my new every two week spot. I didn't hear a single profane word the entire time I was in there. Perfect place to take your kids for a cut. Super patient staff. Price is lower than I would expect for the quality, so make sure you tip those cats.

Great place to get a great hair cut! Went to pay and Nick said no cards. Wasn't sure if I had enough cash. Nick said don't worry about, get it next time. GREAT HOME TOWN PLACE, "NICKS BARBER SHOP". (I had enough cash and left tip).

💈Attention to detail is why I come here and nowhere else. They don't rush. They make sure to talk with the customers through and through, to make sure they are getting exactly what they want and how they want. Sometimes you might even think you're done and all of a sudden they turn the clippers back on to touch up the tiniest spots they miss!! They care about the quality of a haircut. Also a decent price placing at $14...worth every penny. Give Nick or Jacob a try, you won't regret it! They both are fantastic.💈

Really great guys there to talk to while getting your hair cut. Don't be discouraged by one nasty comment. I honestly don't know what the customer could have possibly done to cause two of the nicest people in town to refuse service, or even if that did ever happen (read previous 1 star review). I don't think ill ever go anywhere else no matter how far I live. Just that good of a service.

Question is, would you take your car to a muffler shop to get the brakes fixed? Would you then leave a nasty review after the polite muffler people tell you they don't fix brakes? Or, better yet, what do you think a gynaecologist would tell a man who came in to get his prostate checked? The same thing a prostate specialist would tell a woman looking to get a mammogram. Aren't "gender specific" services for a reason? Sure, a barber can cut women's hair, but theres no guarantee the woman will be delighted with the outcome which is why they are better off getting a fantastic service from a place that specializes in hair for women.

I've been to "salons" over the years, and not been happy with my experience. I no longer get my hair cut from places that don't specialize in men's hair.

Point is, if a business isn't comfortable providing a service because they know it might create an unhappy customer, take it as a compliment that the business isn't out to take money from people just because they can.

Did a great job on my flat top. I was short on cash so he cut my hair and I gave him the $4 I had and came back to give him the other $10. Nice guy.

Old school barbershop that will have you cut right the first time. Friendly staff/owner that understand my vague instructions on how to cut my hair.
