DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary

From my first contact with Brooke to the planning with Annie and the assistance of Emma, my husband's service went so well. We did not want a religious service and I never felt judged by anyone for that. From the musical playlist to the video images, everything went as planned.

DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt went above and beyond to make sure all paperwork and details of the viewing/burial were handled in the most professional manner. I want to thank Bethany for everything she did for my family in these times when those employed tend to do only what they're contracted to do. Not Bethany, I mentioned to her 5 minutes before the burial that the pastor was not able to make it. She said she would say a few words. She said prayers, sang Amazing Grace, said a few words about my Aunt that only I told her previously which she remembered and asked others for their words. Bethany valued what we were feeling. I will never forget that. Thank You Bethany.

Sheryl and the staff went above and beyond for our family! This was an extremely difficult time for us and they were wonderful and caring! My mother would of been so happy with the service. My mother’s parents used this place way back in the 70’s and 80’s and my mother was very impressed with how they took great care of us, so she wanted us to have her service there. Losing a loved one is hard enough but the staff at DeVorss made the process less difficult and easy to navigate. The staff is so genuinely nice and caring. They are very flexible and accommodating. Our family really appreciated their positive attitude and tremendous support. We had zero issues, they take care of everything. Very highly recommended.

My father passed away very suddenly a few weeks ago, and we shopped around at a handful of mortuaries in the area before selecting DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt. Let me tell you, best and easiest decision we made during the whole process! The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful through everything! Michelle was our funeral director and we really couldn't have done such a wonderful job on my father's funeral without her. She took the time to listen to my father's story and kept us on a path that honored his legacy. She held our hands and helped us choose details that I think he would've been very pleased with. She made herself readily available to us to assist with anything we could think of needing at anytime. The mortuary themselves has provided the family with tons of free resources on grief counseling and the loss of a loved one. We really couldn't have picked a better place to help honor my dad and make this extremely diffcult time in our lives as easy as possible. Fantastic service, easy to work with, friendly. The service for my mom went like clock work not a detail was mist. We had a tight schedule to meet because of family travel arrangements left us with a tight window to have the service. You can shop if you like but why not go to the best first.

Jamie is the one that handled my Brothers viewing and cremation. If I could give her a 10 star rating I would. I was at first given a price that I couldn't afford but before she allowed me to disregard the offer she was able to make the amazing happen 4 the budget that I had in mind. Friendly, courteous, patient, nice facility and the cost was reasonable. It was this review page is why I chose this place for my dad. They close at five but the lady allowed us to stay and visit with my dad as long as we wished. Very respectful and helpful staff. I normally don't write reviews, but in this case I did.

We used Devorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary when my father passed away. Sheryl and all of her staff was very friendly, very sympathetic to are needs and wants for my father. They make you feel like family.They will go above and beyond to make sure you and your loved one is taken care. I have used other places and the past and they didn't do half of the things that Devorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary did. I have and will again and agian recommend this mortuary for any one that loss there loved one. This is a place that will not disappoint you.
