My dad and I chose Broadway Mortuary for my grandfather's embalming and funeral service after a bad experience at Lakeview. The service and communication we experienced went beyond the call of duty. Dan was exceptionally kind and patient--his response rate to my questions and concerns was immediate, the service itself was orchestrated seamlessly, and even after our payment was completed Dan continued to find ways to help us out. I am truly grateful for his kindness and for feeling like we could trust him during a whirlwind of a time.

We held my grandfather's service here & it was lovely, dignified & respectful. The staff was always gracious & kind in any of our interactions. My sister & grandmother handled the majority of the planning, but from what I saw, everything was handled as requested.

I sang at the service & we were given the option of my singing with or without accompaniment; even day of, there was no pressure for me to choose my preference & we did change things around at the last minute.

We did choose to have glass art work commemorating my grandfather, using his cremains & they were very professional in fulfilling our request.

When the time comes to choose a funeral home, I would recommend Broadway Mortuary without hesitation.

The service and professionalism at Broadway Mortuary is simply incredible. I was personally dreading doing the final arrangements for my father but the staff helped our family with every question and made the experience very easy. A special thank you to Glen, what a compassionate and wonderful human being!

My Grandmother Della Ludeman, Arthur Ludeman, my Mother Dorothy (Ludeman) Heter & her Mother Dorothy (Bartley) Ludeman, my Father Leslie Heter have had their funeral services there but have been buried & cremated at Wichita Park Cemetery on North Hillside, close to another Cemetary, Old Mission & Lakeview Cemetery & Mortuary & Crematorium on East 13th close to Andover Ks. They were very caring & professional.

We used Broadway Mortuary for both my parents and with both, the folks at Broadway were overwhelmingly accommodating. I honestly wouldn't consider using another mortuary. From the preparation of our loved ones, to the ease of processing paperwork and picking out a casket and even coming in on the weekends to accommodate our wishes, they exceeded every expectation. My sister and I appreciate you all immensely. Thank you!

Dan handled the funeral for my stepdad recently. He was amazing to deal with! He was available to us night and day! He helped us through every step of the process with much patience and love. My mom wants us to use this place for her when the time comes. I highly recommend Broadway Mortuary!

My stepchildren's mother passed away too soon. Broadway Mortuary went beyond to helping them get through this difficult time.
The Chapel was beautiful, calm and peaceful.
Pastor Jonathan Gheen officiated a wonderful service.

My grandfather passed away in early April, not unexpectedly, but leaving no final wishes, either. My grandmother and I spent what I felt was a considerable amount of time consulting with Dan, making arrangements. He was very patient, thorough, and compassionate throughout the entire process. I spoke with him by telephone repeatedly as I thought of new questions or concerns, and every time, he was very understanding and patient.

I was there with Grandma after Grandpa passed when the man from the funeral home arrived to take him. I've since forgotten his name, but he was also very considerate, understanding, and patient as he answered our questions between our tears. Grandpa was handled with dignity, and we were handled with compassion.

My grandpa wasn't well for quite some time before his passing, and didn't really look like himself in the last couple of years. I've been to several funerals in recent years where the decedent didn't look quite right, be it their color or something else, but my grandpa really looked great. I just couldn't get over it. He looked more like himself than I'd seen him look in years. I was highly impressed and very comforted by that.

We chose to hold the service in their chapel, and everything went off without a hitch. We were left with the memory of a beautiful service, and the kind, compassionate people who helped arrange it.

We chose to have Grandpa cremated and were given the option to be there for the cremation. I chose to do so. I felt that I should be there for Grandpa through as much of the process as possible to ensure that he was handled with care (even though, having met these people, I felt he would be). They were very respectful of my wishes and, of course Grandpa was handled with the utmost care. All the way to the end, we were handled with compassion, and Grandpa was handled with dignity.

I would highly recommend Broadway Mortuary. They had the perfect balance of professionalism, compassion, patience, and understanding. They made a devastating experience so much more bearable. My entire family, including my young son, who dearly loved my grandpa, were all left with such a peace, knowing that Grandpa is at peace and his service and arrangements were so peaceful. The whole experience was rather cathartic for me, and for that, I am eternally grateful. I know that Grandpa would be pleased, and I can't thank them enough.

At such a horrible time in life, it is hard comment anything positive about anything, but Dan at Broadway Mortuary immediately showed such thoughtful, warm insight to the services his company offers. My family looked at no less than 7 different mortuaries, and the second we walked in to this mortuary, we knew this was the one to use. DON'T LET THE LOCATION DETER YOU! I can not say enough good things about Dan. He helped our family in more ways than we could have ever expected.

My grandpa’s funeral was held here and throughout the whole process they were very helpful and caring for with my grandma. They set up my papa’s funeral wonderfully, considering he was the founder of the kansas chapter of baca. Attendance was over 200 people and they brought out more seats for all the people coming. The guy who helped us, dan, was so helpful with the whole thing and we couldn’t thank him enough for him helping the service go smoothly.

During one of the most difficult things my sister and our family will have to experience, Ashley Cozine and his staff went above and beyond. Words cannot describe our grief, yet at the same time I struggle to find the words that will do the Cozine's justice - they truly are called to do what they do and they are exceptionally skilled at it. We could not have been more satisfied with the attention to detail and service they provided.
