We brought our infant son in to have tongue/lip/cheek tie releases and we cannot express enough how awesome Katrina was during the process! She made us feel so comfortable and was so knowledgeable and great with our son! Would definitely recommend this office!

My son was born with a tongue tie and we had him evaluated a few times when he was younger, but never received good guidance on having it released or not. I was told by and ENT, "I don't think he needs a release, but it is no big deal, so I can release it or not." Working as a lactation consultant in the last 2 years, I have learned a lot about oral restrictions and how they can affect the body beyond breastfeeding. I was thankful for Dr. Fetzik and Carrie and their knowledge or oral releases and showing by taking a complete history of my son's habits/behavior as a child and doing a thorough oral exam, including measurements, that my son had a 4th degree tongue tie and would benefit from a release. At the age of 16 yrs, we finally received reliable information and my son had his release. He loved working with Carrie learning the oral stretches to prepare for the procedure and following the release. Both Dr. Fetzik and Carrie were professional and kind and made my son feel at ease during the prep, the procedure, and the follow up. He was able to open his mouth 4mm wider and his tongue lift improved by 14 mm! His speech is clearer and he has been working with a chiropractor to continue to release tension from his upper body. I would highly recommend Dr. Fetzik and Carrie for their knowledge and expertise and thorough handling of and follow up with oral restrictions. It was worth waiting 16 years for it to be done right. As a mom, I was unsure why breastfeeding hurt so much and my pediatrician didn't have the answers for me. I had a friend suggest ties being a problem with my son's mouth. With research, I found the best option in Wichita. Fetzik Dentistry helped me remove my infant son's lip and tongue ties with a laser. They are the only ones in the local area that go above and beyond with follow up care and body work for best results. I didn't want to use scissors to clip as I was concerned it wouldn't be as effective. The laser procedure was extremely fast and my son recovered well. Fetzik Dentistry is a great place for dental care! Aside from the standard cleanings/fillings, Dr Fetzik specializes in frenectomies, amalgam fillings removal and ALF orthodontics. The office also offers Myofunctional therapy. I highly recommend them!

All three of my children (2 weeks, 8months, 23months) were released of tongue ties here and received CFT (Cranialsacral Fascial Therapy). We drove from Kansas City, MO. The integrative care, oral work bodywork etc, we received from the team at Fetziks has inspired us to one day create something similar in the KC area. Truly conscious and caring dentistry. They stay away from toxic ingredients and offer good guidance on how to take care of dental issues.

They do a great job.

Not really impressed.
Not really sure what to do with me so I got referred to a periodontist.
They overcharged and I was not prepared to pay for that level of service.
When I tried to return, I was told I could not be treated because I was referred.
Some sort of collusion I suspect. Makes no sense to me.

They diagnosed my child with a tongue tie. He does not have a tongue tie. We went to an ENT and got a second opinion on such. Giving a child a medically unnecessary surgery while awake is alarming. Side note, be wary of a doctors office that uses essential oils and therapies that are not evidence based and peer reviewed.
