My Tho

*CASH ONLY* The dining room appeared neat and clean, prices were very fair, food was tasty and the staff were helpful and friendly when I asked about the menu and suggestions on what to try. We had the Pho with Steak and the Beef Stew with rice noodles AND egg noodles. Both were delicious and served with beans sprouts/basil/lime wedges/jalapeno slices on the side. It was after we ate that I realized it was a cash only establishment. The employees were understanding and were fine about me leaving to grab some cash from the bank. My only complaint is I wish the broth was just a little less oily. Thanks for an awesome experience!

My absolute favorite place to get pho. Everywhere else I go is disappointing. The food is hot, the bread is delicious, and the service is awesome. No complaints here. Cash only so come prepared!

I love this place! It's only Bahn Mi & Pho on the menu.. If you get pho at least get some buttered bread along with it. One of my fav broths in town. Highly recommended with friendly staff & delicious pho

Attention: BRING CASH, as in paper and coins. That being said, it's perfect for several people, for several occasions. It's close to the hospital making it an affordable, nourishing and comforting alternative to the food opts at the hospital or fast food nearby (and it's just as fast!) It's perfect for couples, too; not because it's fancy or particularly romantic, but because it's usually pretty quiet with adequate space between tables (since it used to be a pool hall, too) and you can enjoy actually talking to each other. It would also make a perfect, low-key, first date place, especially if you are a young hipster/hippie or any person always on the lookout for ways to "casually" show others how cultured and unique you are (UNLESS you or your friends/date are vegan or vegetarian.) Savor the satisfaction of the confused look on their face when you park in the generous parking space available behind or on the side of the white, cinder block building with the word "Billiards" painted on the actual structure, on the corner of Emporia and Central and they wonder how you ever discovered it. Imagine how impressed they'll be when you take them to your "favorite place to get Pho" (pronounced "Fuh", by the way, an interesting word for an addictive Vietnamese soup that contains noodles, onions, and your choice of meats, ranging from Vietnamese meatballs to pork or beef steak, brisket, or even tendons! (You will be such a bad a** if you try and genuinely enjoy tendons in your pho. Sorry, 'pho' is not a valid word in Words With Friends. I'm not bitter about it; just resentful and thought I'd warn you before you tried it, unsuccessfully.) Then you can add bean sprouts, fresh herbs and a variety of sauces, including Hoisin sauce, my personal favorite. Your "I'm sorry. I'm just effortlessly multicultural, even in Central Kansas and I can't help it if you find that cool/attractive..." demeanor will be complete when you end the meal by ordering a Vietnamese coffee. This is a wicked strong coffee, with sweetened, condensed milk and poured over ice, (after it finishes dripping in front of you, which is oddly aesthetically pleasing.)
LASTLY, this place is perfect if you are like my husband and I, and have actually lived in different parts of the world and actually, genuinely enjoy cuisine from other cultures and don't have much money, but find My Tho an immaculate establishment and a healthy, enjoyable and affordable way to replace our fluids and protein after donating plasma down the street. My husband, who's less picky about meat, growing up in Asia, always gets an x-large bowl of meatball, brisket and tendons pho, and adds the leaves, sprouts, Sriracha, soy and hoisin sauces and I always get a #11, I think, a regular-sized bowl of brisket and steak pho, to which I add salt, soy and hoisin sauces and loads of bean sprouts. The Vietnamese Coffee reminds me of Turkish Coffee from Central Asia, but without the grounds. I appreciate the child high chairs, take-out, free soda refills, clean bathrooms, generous parking, simple, predictable, and well-explained menu and friendly staff. My Tho is definitely MY My Tho.

I look forward to coming here every time I visit Wichita. By far the best pho I've had and what I compare pho from other places to. The 2 gentlemen that own the place are the nicest guys you'll meet and truly care about serving their customers. The experience is well worth the minor inconvenience of being a cash only restaurant.

I had never had pho before I came to Wichita but this is my favorite place hands down. I really like the beef dish the have the most though. The owner is super nice and staff attentive. It’s one always one of those evening when we can’t figure out what we want but as soon as someone mentions My Tho, it’s perfect and always hits the spot. Even in the dead of summer, it’s a great place to go to get soup, they keep it cool.

Super good! Real authentic Vietnamese food. Try their summer/spring rolls (the kind in the rice paper that aren’t fried) with peanut sauce. Their Pho is delicious. The restarting is clean and the tables are spaced fairly far apart. They have quick service and some of the best selections.

This location most importantly has excellent pho. Broth is sooo good. Noodles on point. Very clean inside. The service is very quick and friendly. Don't forget cash though, because they are cash only which kinda threw me off but I still think it deserves full stars. Being downtown is awesome for me as well.

Was looking for a good pho shop while passing through Wichita and found this place on Trip Advisor and read all the great reviews. You can believe what they all say. It's all true. I've had pho all over all my life and this is pretty authentic stuff. Soothing broth and good portions for the $$. The banh mi was good too (Vietnamese baguette sandwich). We knew the minute we pulled up and walked in to see how it was a locals place, that I wouldn't disappoint. I love these little family owned and operated shops. Like eating at a mom's house. Great Vietnamese coffee to go with our meals too. And great staff and service. Highly recommended for sure!! We now have a place each time we pass through Wichita to eat at

Great place for light lunch on a cold day. Service is fast, and soup is comforting. I like to meet friends here. One disadvantage is that the restaurant only accepts cash, no credit cards. My second favorite Pho place its just a little hole in the wall but the price is great and the product is outstanding I would recommend this place to anyone that loves Pho! Delicious pho and bahn mi. Eaten and liked pho many places around the country before and this ranked near the top! Took two kids and a teenager who had never eaten Vietnamese and they loved it too! Service was fast and pleasant.

The restaurant is simple and for that reason brilliant. The menu is limited but everything is well made and comes out very quick. Our food was out in 5-7 minutes. Pho is awesome. My first bahn mi sandwich was great! We will be back.

I like it there but I think their prices are expensive compare to other phos that I had, sometimes beef is not tender but in general pho is very tasty! My Tho hits all the marks you’d want at a restaurant which basically only serves Banh Mi and Pho. The food tastes good, service is fast and friendly, and prices are cheap... no bs. Remember to bring cash since this is a cash only spot!!! I didn’t notice until it was time to pay the bill, but they were cool enough to let me leave to go an ATM and get cash. Overall, exactly what I was looking for on a cold day in Wichita. I’ll definitely be back Pho mo'!

Best Pho in town. It had been a while since I had eaten at My Tho and I had been been getting pho from other places around town. My wife and I decided to get some pho here several weeks ago, and after a few bites I thought to myself "what the hell have been doing eating pho from anywhere but here?" The last several weeks we've been going every weekend. It's absolutely delicious. Also the limeades are amazing and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. If you have not eaten here you are really missing out.

Amazing. The best broth I’ve had hands down in Wichita, and may ever have! I had the hu tieu #18 with clear noodles. I’ve always preferred it to beef pho. So much more flavor! Delicious!!!!! Everything was perfect. Great service, friendly, and fast! Nice inside of the restaurant and quite big! Definitely recommend this place. ***CASH ONLY***

Best pho I have had in the Wichita area. I get the number tweleve and enjoy every bit. I do wish they had a credit card machine, but the flavor is worth the hastle of dropping by an atm before heading there. Go here you won't be disappointed.

It's so good I wrote a review. Stumbled across My Tho by accident and it automatically became my favorite pho place. The pho is so filling, flavorful, and the most important fresh! Prices are perfect and service is great! If you're a lover of pho, this is your new go to place! It is "my usual" pho place now.

My favorite pho. Don't forget to bring cash,and your appetite. Very good portions, excellent value, and the best pho in town. The service is fast, courteous, and always helpful, especially if you are new to this particular side of Vietnamese cuisine.

Wonderful pho! Flavour is so good, topping is generous, and food comes very quickly! Service was so good too, very friendly! They seem to specialize in pho, but there's Bhan mi. No desert offered here, which is fine for me. One thing to remember is to have your cash handy, they are cash only restaurant!
