Sonic Drive-In

It has been a very long time since I've been to Sonic. Years, in fact. I recall, in my Youth, Sonic was very mid; the coneys were good, the burgers decent, but the much loved tater tots always seemed pale and bland to me. Then a few weeks ago I stopped in after work - it was late and I was quite tired and hungry. On a whim, I decided to get tater tots with my coney and limeade, since in had indeed been a while. Either things have changed while I was away all those years, with Sonic or with me, but the tater tots were amazing. Crispy outside, soft inside, and just enough seasoning to make them tantalizing and delicious. All my years fell away and once again I was a kid in the back of a car, but now I would happily eat those offered tots if they had always been like this. Perhaps I wouldn't have stayed away so long.

Oh, and service was quick and friendly, too.

Wasn't mpressed with the breakfast Burrito, They also had a panhandler Coming up to cars asking for money.was very Uncomfortable and left after the interaction and drove to a packing lot across the Steet to eat ourfood. Can't believe management Isnt watching this for the Safety if their employees..

I didn't realize that when we showed up that it was one minute till close and I would have never thought by the customer service that they were closing and i didn't hear anything that made me feel like I was rushed. You got to appreciate good customer service nowadays because it's hard to find sometimes.

I love this place great service

Went here at least partially because of convenience to my location. Convenience wouldn't have mattered much if they didn't have a pretty good rating when I looked them up, though. Friendly, clean (at least in the customer area, I would worry if the shop area was too clean 😄), and reasonable on pricing. From what I overheard waiting for my vehicle, they have a good work ethic when it comes to serving their customers. Would definitely recommend giving these guys a chance to earn your business.

We needed a quick pick up lunch for “starving” kids. All orders were correct and everyone was happy. Nice carhop in training

They have the best birria tacos in kansas.

Love they brought back dill pick burger and love the pickle fries, would love if the did fry dill pickle chips too. I use to get them yrs ago when sonic was in Burlington CO. In the mid 70s. The same pickles used on hamburgers are the ones the deep fried. Sold for yrs. They have closed down now for yrs but when I saw they had fried dill fries had to have two orders. I loved them hope they try the pickles that are used on hamburgers. I use to get them from Freddie's till they stopped selling them.

Our order was messed up but their manager Becca was so friendly and amazing and made it right. Thankyou so much!

The shake was guuudddd....the mozzarella sticks were delicious and the fries were scrumptious!!! It was nice and hot!!! Customer service did a good job taking care of my family and the service was fast!!!! The workers work their butt off.

Really good burger and tots here!

We stopped in at sonic and ordered a strawberry limeade, Dr pepper, and mozzarella sticks, all items were fresh and tasty.
The young lady that brought our items to us was so friendly and cheerful, great experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger, no onion with tater tots. The menu is so easy to read because it's right in your stall. Service was fast and friendly.

Person on the other end of speaker was patient and polite. Order was quick to cook and be brought out. It was delicious as well and it was absent spit. 😋

Good food friendly service

I love the fast and friendly service and the fresh food. Its a good place for outside birthday parties because it has tables and chairs and a little playground and a volleyball area. I also like the decorative plantings in front of the building.

Best Dr. Pepper in town, and Carter is such a great car hop. Always has been beyond appreciate for any tip. It fun to reward people who have the attitude of gratefulness. He will go far with that type of outlook.

Great Service, the food was very hot and fresh. And the taste was great. I read where someone had posted, that they got food poison from eating here lol. No way possible, the food is very fresh and hot when you get it. Sounds like someone trying to score a free meal.

Easily the better sonic in town, apart from its play ground. This sonic tends to get things right i haven't had the issues at this sonic that I have had on the one in sante fe. This sonic is honestly worth going out of the way to get to for better quality service.

Great staff. Good food. Classic atmosphere.
