I am your typical skeptical customer when shopping for vehicles and this trip I was even more protective as we were buying a first car for our high school daughter. To be honest I was dreading shopping for a car not knowing any of the dealerships we are planning to visit personally. when we pulled up at Alpha Auto Emmanuel greeted us in a very sincere and friendly way... like he actually cared about us not just selling a vehicle to us. The more we talked to Emmanuel the more we felt like we had come to the right place. We had already located the car we wanted to look at online but he was extremely helpful and patient with us every step of the way, answered all of our questions and letting us take all the time we need to make the decision. we had some questions about the salvage title but was provided all the proof necessary to put our minds at ease. My daughter loved the car and we ended up making the purchase. We then had the privilege of meeting Rex and got to learn a little more about their business and their family. we could tell right away this was a different used car dealership than we had been to before they operated with honesty, integrity, and a customer first attitude. We have already recommended Alpha automotive to two of our friends. Please consider this wonderful family-owned business the next time you are looking to purchase a vehicle.

When I was casually shopping for a car to replace my aging one, I noticed their little shop on Harry St, just a few blocks from my house. I browsed their used car inventory on their website and found one I wanted to look into. I also read the reviews here and was impressed at how genuine they sounded. Being a single mom, I was a little nervous about dealing with car salesmen on my own, and with my limited budget. When I went to look at the car, Emmanuel was very helpful and respectful, and put me right at ease. He was there to answer any questions or concerns, and was never pushy in any way. When it was time to test drive it, I even asked him to drive it first so I could focus on how it rode, listen for any noises, test out the air controls, etc, from the passenger seat, before I drove it myself. He was extremely patient while we cruised around and I tried to talk to him down on the price. We came to an agreement I was happy with by the time we got back to the shop (he did let me talk him down a little bit). Then, I had the pleasure of meeting Rex. Within a few minutes of meeting Rex he felt like an old friend, and I enjoyed his stories about his family, and singing in his church choir. I was reassured after hearing they have been in business at that location for 9 years. Another lady waiting for her car to be serviced while I was there also vouched for them, saying they had taken very good care of the car she purchased from them for over 4 years. I was already sold on the car when Rex told me it would have a 60 day warranty and they would be there for any future maintenance or repair needs I might have, which is also appealing with them being only a few blocks from my home; as I can drop it off and just walk home if necessary. I had told Emmanuel I was a little worried about it possibly needing brake pads and an a/c charge in the near future, so they added those to the 60 day warranty. The day I signed all the paperwork and paid for the car, they had the mechanics check all the fluids and even wash it, and they all stayed past closing time to get the sale finalized for me. I told Rex I would have to drive my other car home and then I would walk the few blocks back to pick up the new car, but Rex insisted on driving it home for me, and then with a smile and a cheery good bye, he jogged back up to his shop! When I scheduled an appointment to have the brakes replaced and the a/c charged before my 60 day warranty was up, they got it right in and honored the warranty with no issues. As my son and I waited for the mechanics to finish it up at the end of the work day, Rex came in and asked how we were doing. I must've looked like an overwhelmed Momma at the end of a long week, because the next thing he asked was what we were doing for dinner that night. I said I would probably order food to be delivered because I was tired and he said he wanted to buy our dinner, and he did! It was such an appreciated and nice gesture.
Throughout my whole experience so far with the guys at Alpha I have continued to be impressed with their attention to customer care and satisfaction. The car I bought from them was only $5000 but they have done more for me in these first two months than a big name dealership in town ever did when I bought a $15000 car years ago. These days it's hard to find a good used car from an honest person who genuinely cares what happens after you drive it away, but Rex and Emmanuel at Alpha are the exception and I am so grateful that I found my way to their business. I intend on being a long term customer for the life of my car. I work for an insurance agency and have no reservations about referring these guys to customers, friends and family.

After seeing a good car under 100,000 mi for a discounted good price I jumped at the offer. Not only is the staff friendly and helpful but they truly stick with you until the end, even after. The alternator on my car had gone bad after a little less than 2 months of driving, alpha automotives not only towed me but got everything fixed up and dealt with in a timely manner and with amazing pricing. I personally really appreciate all of the professionalism and kindness that they bring to the table and I personally recommend them to many others. 😁 If anything else happens I will be sure to bring my car back here in the future!

Bought a vehicle recently from Rex and Emmanuel! They were very nice and professional! Made the process super easy and fairly quick! It's hard to believe that a remote car repair shop in Newton has such a good business. It turns out that Josh's car repair skills are very good, and he can do it quickly and inexpensively. . It's funny for he fixed my window wipers as it rained the next day.

Over the years I have bought 3 cars from Rex--a Chevy cruze, a Honda fit, and a Chevy sonic. He's honest about the car's history, provides thorough documentation of what he has done to the car, and sells at a fair price. If I'm buying a used car, he's the first person I call.
