North Linwood Park

My Favorite Park EVERRRRR! With multiple playgrounds, bball & tennis courts as well as 2 baseball fields and large picnic areas. Plenty of shade and areas to hang and enjoy!! :)

The kind of park which a calm loneliness pervades, unless there are families and children, and pets present. About seven decades ago, my father carved his and my mother’s initials into a tree there. Even though dad is gone now, somehow their love is very present at that park. A good little park and decently taken care of. A park where you can leave love and know it will be there when you come back.

Nice park but homeless people always seem to be camped out there. One even had a tent up. The other day on my walk a man came running towards me and scared the hell out of me. He stopped in his tracks when I turned around and seen him. He then turned around and walked back to that building thing that's in the middle of the park. Please be aware of your surroundings when you walk or jog through here.

I had my sons birthday party here and it turned out great! My disabled uncle was able to join us, which made it that more special.

It's nice to be able to find a large scenic place like this for any and all occasions that may arise. From family barbeque to picnics alone with just yourself and nature. Lovely stretch for walking your dogs and exploring all the wildlife that inhabits here. Nice shade trees, and stretches of green growing grass with even grounds makes it great for kicking or tossing a ball around. The highway being right alongside the bike path keeps you flowing at your own comfortable pace. There are walking paths that go up over the highway with chain length 6.5 ft in either side for safety, very secure structure with a great view of the canal and I-35 north and south.

This park I don’t know what kind of park this is exactly it’s beautiful but all means real nature for being Wichita else I have some kind of buildings that are pretty or have it button to close to those but I imagine they held some kind of concerts or something there performances

Nice clean park. We stopped on our way home from the South. Was peaceful and the Sandwiches we got from the Gas station. I think QT where awesome.

Nice place to get away from drama and crowds to refresh the brain.

Great park that's close to home! I come here once a week to go for a walk. I can get a good walk in here!

Very nice, large park with lots of trees and a park. Flew a fpv drone here and had plenty of open room as well as obstacles.

I love Linwood park. It's got less people and more park. I live in the area and my daughter attends Linwood elementary which is actually in the park. Great school.

Great park to visit. Good Parking. There's bathrooms open during the summer. Nice large tree's!

Love coming here with my dogs...everyone contributes to keeping it clean

I was great took 2 of my cats 4 a lil walk i got a pet stroller 4 they & they did pretty well OMG

Great place to go if you want to be left alone and just watch the squirrels run up and down the trees still looks the same only thing different tennis course is gone if you grew up around there grab a lunch go sit in the park

It was nice & clean park use to go there when I was younger for family reunion enjoyed the memory today

It's a nice neighborhood park and has newer, modern playground equipment.

Love this park! My only suggestion would be to add sidewalks around the entire park.

Great for family gatherings or hosting a Crawfish Boil! With a covered pavilion and a large playground.
