Taco Rio

I love the people who work the counter. I've had a few different people over the years, and they have always been kind and welcoming. The food is pretty much as you'd expect an American ran Mexican fast food joint. It's not super special, but it is tasty. They fill their burritos pretty full. I appreciate that. The building is super outdated. I'm pretty sure the interior is the same as I remember it as a kid. I think that gives it some extra charm. 😉 It's pretty clean and well kept. 👌

Never been. Parking lot is always full and now I know why! I call this white people Mexican food. But it's so good. You won't leave disappointed!

Great taco shells, meat is good and not gross messy like other places like Taco Grande. Tastes better than Taco John's and Taco Shop. Chile red sauce is excellent. Cheap and better than other fast food. I buy just tacos. Never dissatisfied.

Holy moly this place is great. 75 cent taco Tuesday is the way it's supposed to be. My 75 cent tacos blew away the chains that keep popping up thinking it's ok to charge 8 dollars for a taco. It's a taaaaacoooooo not a prime rib. No matter what you do to it a taco should never be over 3 dollars. The place was packed and 10+ people ordered ahead of me and I was in and out in less than 9 minutes. I waited in the drive thru for 41 minutes at Taco sh@p. That's a difference between night and day

This is an old school 70’s-80’s taco joint. These types of restaurants are dying out across the country, but Wichita has its share of them.

Their taco burger is one of the best in the city. Crunchy taco doesn’t disappoint.

I recommend this place if you want to tour old school taco joints. These places are like the national chains, but have kept what is good and classic with these types of restaurants.

I can only speak to Taco Tuesdays 🌮, Best price in town. I Love their bean hot Taco, the meat tacos you have to eat there or they will be soggy when you get home unless you live 3 blocks from there 🤔.

Treated myself on taco Tuesday! As usual, they were very busy & there was a wait, but it's so worth it! Love some Taco Rio!

I've eaten here since I was a child. No frills just good Americanized tex mex fast food. No. 4 with cheese sauce on the Sancho is more than enough for one for $10. Friendly people and a comfy dining room. My personal comfort food for like 30+ years.

Very good food! Friendly staff who all were wearing masks and participating in social distancing. I always have a nice time here. They even have little signs on the table stating to bring it to them once you're done so they can sanitize the tables for safety. Great food. Can not wait to visit again. Justin the manager and his staff are really fantastic! Give them a try!

If you like taco shop you will definitely like Taco Rio for some reason I have not frequented Taco Rio as much as I should have. Only been there twice lol I will have to make sure I stop by more often to get my Taco Rio fix

I haven't been there in 20 yrs because I moved out of state. Now I'm back so ate there again. Still the same food I loved 20 yrs ago. Good to see some things don't change. Keep up the good work guys. Sincerely the Alien
