Best around, including KC area. Brent and his staff are truly awesome! They are really about the customer and meeting their needs and wants. My daughter and I always have a good time when we go to the store, the atmosphere is always positive.

This place was so cool, I was searching for so many records and I finally found the ones I wanted, they have a great selection of records and cd’s!

Small store, but killer collection and ambiance. Stopped in there with my daughter after her swim meet last weekend and (of course) left with a couple of new acquisitions. There's also a fine selection of vintage equipment in there for decent prices. Definitely worth your while to check it out.

Sometimes it’s about the records, sometimes it’s about the cds, but it’s always a good time in the store. Truly a Time Machine. The atmosphere is awesome and me and my mom have to come in at least once a week we love it so much.

I stopped here on a whim driving through Kansas on vacation. Very cool store. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t notice a lot junk filling the shelves like you see in a lot of record shops. The stock was mostly collectible albums and genres and in decent condition. I walked out with some nice UFO and Thin Lizzy LP’s. Next time I’m out that way, I’ll stop in again.

Come here all the time. The service is great. Owners are knowledgeable and friendly. They are not big on "new" vinyl, you'll have to go to Love Garden for that. Some great fun browsing the stacks of wax and soaking in all that vintage glory. It's a great little shop.

I absolutely LOVE coming here! The atmosphere is relaxing and the vynol records displayed on the walls are jaw dropping. It is clear that the owner not only knows his music, but is passionate about his shop, and is as friendly and fair as they come. I prefer to bring my business here, as he will pay you more for your old records that are just collecting dust and creating clutter.

Stellar experience every time. Not from the area, but when I pass through I always make it a point to stop by. Brent is a great guy and very knowledgable. Always strikes up great conversation while browsing the excellent selection. Picture is one of the many great records I picked up here. Amazing condition.

With vinyl being "cool again", everyone seems to be jumping on the bandwagon which is fine but it's rare these days to deal with people who know what they're talking about from actual experience.
Most record stores these days couldn't function without a computer because the people who work there only know what they know because they looked it up or referenced it on eBay or Discogs.
If you're looking for great classic vinyl from people who know their stuff, this is the place!

Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. If there is an album you want that they don't have, they will order it. Their collection is pretty good and they get new stuff in regularly. Highly recommend and I plan on going again soon.

Try making it in at least once a month -- always leave with vinyl. Found some very cool Korean release Grand Funk vinyl on last trip - knowledgeable staff and owner! Buy local and buy small -- Walmart is not the place you want to depend upon for your vinyl!

Large selection of vinyl plus LOTS of other music related items. Nice selection of vintage audio gear makes it a HUGE PLUS. Very fair pricing also.

I finally checked out this little record shop by Washburn University on Topeka, KS, and wow. It really took me back with record copies of Jethro Tull, Elton John, John Denver and more.
There was memorabilia, KISS videos and dolls, picture discs. They had patches and stickers on the walls and a handful of posters.
They also had record players, preamps and stereo monitors as well as a few sets of speakers. If I were in the market for vintage players, I'd certainly buy here.
I was hoping to catch the owners to talk about starting a Zine Distro inside the shop. They weren't in. Unfortunately I picked the time when they had the "in between" guy, who didn't seem too keen on small talk.
I looked around, fingered some albums then headed on out.
If you get to Topeka and you are a recordphile, this is the place to visit.
