First United Methodist Church

I love this church, my pastors and my Sunday School teacher. I have learned so much, made lifelong friends but most of all rejoice in how God has blessed me and, I believe, had a hand in my choosing this downtown church as my church home. I've had my last few dress rehearsals and concerts with Wichita Choral Society here, it's a nice venue. Had pretty good turnouts the 3 concerts that Wichita Choral Society has had there

We love First United Methodist Church. Welcoming staff & congregation, everyone makes you feel like you're home. The pastors do an amazing job with the messages.

Some of the nicest and most helpful people you could ever meet! Pastor Cindy speaks like every message is specifically for you. Even televised service doesn't feel overdone and dramatized for the viewers. Lots of different groups for every age. Everyone is free to join the services. Occasional fundraiser breakfasts are well done in the kitchen on site. Handicap accessible with elevators to every floor. Small church feel in a big environment.

If you cannot afford to pay for talk therapy then this is the place to go. This church allows Friends University students who are learning to be therapists work with patients in their Church. You do not have to belong to the church to participate in this. There is no charge to use these students. However you need to know that they are only good for a semester. Then you transition to another student therapist if you need to continue. Friends University also has students but they charge $50 per session at the school.

A beautiful church with very friendly people who care deeply for others. We have Sunday school groups , kids and teenagers meet and learn about GOD and do fun activities as well. We also have a deeply rooted Missions program that helps those in need.

Our special needs adult daughter has finally found a Sunday School Class where she is learning and growing in her faith. The Religious Nurture Center is wonderful.

We are enjoying listening to the choir and getting involved in Global Mission Teams.

An absolutely wonderful church filled with loving people who care about you. A beautiful worship service and a powerful message by Pastor Rogers to lift your heart heavenward and speed you on your way in life's great journey.

Not everyone greeted us when we walk in the church but they made there way to us after church felt good to be there and the preacher she was a good speaker

I have joined your church every Sunday of COVID 19. It has filled an empty hole I have joined in with singing and prayers. Thank you for being here for me. My home church is Derby Presbyterian Church.

My favorite part about coming here was the sewing classes. They have stopped since covid. I also have my councling here. I really appreciate them for helping.

Beautiful building. Enjoyed The Forum Theatre inside of First United.

Love there living waters program. My family and I use there food pantry. Have dinner and. worship on Wednesdays
