MOXI Junction

Searching for fun place to go for coffee I found Moxi Junction in an old house. Just a short drive from Wichita in Maize. Great coffee, outdoor space and service. The cinnamon rolls are fantastic. The egg bite (bite size mini quiche) was not my favorite…it could use a bit more egg. More of a bread bite. I’ll try them again. Very clean.

It's just like going to Grandma's house! It gives you the same kind of feel good experience and the pastries are just as you'd expect! The cinnamon rolls are what brought me there, but you can hardly choose from the amazing assortment! The prices are just as friendly as the staff. A new favorite spot!

I’ve always loved stopping by this vibrant coffee shop, but loved it even more when I learned why it was started, and how they’re continuing that mission. Yesterday I had the red berry loose leaf tea and a bierock. But their scones are also delicious! MOXI = Mothers Of eXceptional Individuals. MOXi was started by 3 moms of special needs kids that wanted a place for them to work and thrive in the community once they were done with school. So they started this great coffee shop, bakery and art gallery, they continue to hire and train individuals with special needs. Love this place and their mission! ❤ PS they have a drive through! 🙌

Imagine you wanted to open a coffee shop with other offerings too. It would be whimsical, funky. rooted in the ethos of the community. That is MOXI Junction.

Where else have you been where a bicycle hangs from the ceiling and a bike pump supports one corner of the sink. Such is the bathroom on the left as you walk down the hall. This place features and supports local artists. We attended a folk performance by a local musician staged on part of the outside grounds. There is a wraparound porch complete with rocking chairs.

The only knock is this place is roughly 20 miles from my house. It's attractive enough to make me wish I lived in Maize. Seriously, if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable weekend destination. Go here.

Come see the Twins they rock. These young owners are leaving their mark on the Wichita area with their unique cafe. Baked goods check. Good drinks check. Warm and friendly atmosphere! These ladies are doing their thing. Nice ND cozy spot. Keep that art coming, ladies!

I was recommended this place from a Wichita food Facebook page for their cinnamon rolls and I’m so glad I went!

Instead of having Starbucks runs, I now have moxi mornings 😍🤩

They are so fast in the drive thru and my kiddo loves going before school. They always are so kind and I have absolutely no complaints of this place.

Plus so many options, I have a lactose intolerance and they can do my almond milk latte with sugar free vanilla!

Super fun coffee house with a community feel. We visited for Storytime on Tuesdays at 10:30, and you can really tell the care and intention in every aspect of this place. Pastries were delicious too!

MOXI has some of the best coffee in the Wichita area. My fav is the Amaretto latte-it isn’t super sweet like some coffee shops make their lattes. You can add sugar but I really like the flavor and it smells so good! The decor is handmade and very creative! I am excited to check out the live music in the future! Stopped in on a whim on my way into Wichita, and can't believe what a lovely gem this place was! I literally caught my breath when I pulled in. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a cafe. Plenty of outdoor seating options and natural light inside. I had a delicious scone and iced latte and will definitely be trying to pop in here more often :)

Always a great experience at moxi. Everyone is so sweet and the service is fast. The blueberry scones are the best but it is all so good.

Great relaxing place in hometown atmosphere providing great coffees,etc. Will be returning often.

I visit this place 2 times a week with my daughter's I love this coffee shop! They have homemade pastries that they post every day on Instagram they are always making new things, The staff is very friendly! And of course it is important to support local! If you do stop in I suggest trying the Carmelita bar! It is so good!! They've got pastries and coffee and smoothies. Oh and a drive-through!

The eye appeal when we first pulled up was so heart warming. We have traveled extensively, this place is the best kept secret. The coffee flavor is fab, I ordered an extra shot. Well you do not need to, because the flavor is pure and it is on the stronger side. I cannot wait to go again just to hang out. Order a cup and try a fresh pastry. It’s where you want to go and enjoy your favorite drink and relax…. Ooooooh maybe I can suggest Boba… don’t know if they have it, but wow if they did or do. Life would be complete.

This is one of my favorite places! Very welcoming and colorful environment and the food is great too! My favorite is the chocolate chip scones 😊

This place is just amazing. From the owner down to each employee and the delicious drinks and baked goods. Such a cute, warm atmosphere. So very welcoming. The mission of this coffee shop makes it extra special. The owner has gone out of her way to make each and everyone that walks into this space feel welcome and like they belong. She certainly has done that for my daughter and I. Thank you. 💗

Absolutely amazing local coffee shop run by the most amazing kind hearted people ever!! Truly a blessing everytime I go in. The decor and atmosphere is absolutely beautiful!! The owner is a sweet kind lady that just makes you wanna smile!! You can get delicious fresh baked goodies, awesome coffe and smoothies....and you can get cool glass jars with there house blend coffe in whole beans or geounded..I trulysuggest you go out of your way to tey this little gem out!!...May God bless this place amd there continued success!!

I have been here twice and have enjoyed it a lot! I love the upstairs area as there is a lot of seating and natural light. The coffee has been excellent both times I have come and is comparable to other coffee shops in the Wichita area (and better than a few others too I might add). The staff if friendly and always gets my drink out very quickly. If you are in wichita, it is worth the quick drive over to Maize to get good coffee and have a peaceful place to get some work done.

This place is amazing! Very nice staff the prices are pretty good and carmel frappuccino is delicious!
