The Wichita Police Department is full of good people who care for their community and they put their lives on the line for you every day and night .
They never know when they leave their house if they will come home at night because someone may want to end their watch. Someone may never have a Wife,Mother,Son,Father they are people too and they will always help their community so respect them they are humans beings also and have feelings just like everyone else. #ThinBlueLine

I live in south Wichita and I'm not a criminal. Patrol South rocks. These guys and gals are the best of the best. Keep up the great work!!!

I support all law enforment, so I'm bias in my answer. They seem pretty cool and relaxed.

These officers abuse their power. Wrongfully arrest and traumatize people of color. It's crazy how a white woman can get away with exposing herself to a child and for Walmart employee to tell me and my white sons father to check out and we could check the cameras afterwards but an officer abusing his badge and saying he's in charge and that he would wrongfully arrest me if I didn't leave and I did leave but my keys were forgotten. So my ex went back in to grab them and as soon as he was out of my sight the officer who was on a power trip said he was going to arrest me. Even tho I was not in the store anymore. He was going to shoot me, his hand on his gun and I feared for my life and ran.

I just watched a gang with badges drum up charges on a 74 year old man. If you would have ask him to move he would have. Instead you made up some reason to write him a ticket. Your officer grabbed him first. I know of no accredited international standard nor US law that gives you the right to grab someone without first telling them that they are being detained and informed of a pat down. This is despicable. I will contact local and national news organizations to showcase what passes for police work in your town. I hope at least your prosecuting attorney has more sense. And I believe you will likly receive even more visits from like minded citizens demanding that the aggressive officer shown in this video steps down or is released.

Horrible police department with a bunch of tyrants posing as police officers. A 75 year old man was recording police cars as a hobby in their parking lot and they arrested him because he was standing in front of a police car whose engine was running but no driver in the vehicle. They asked him for ID so they could ticket him for impeding traffic for once again, standing in front of a police car that had no driver in it. One of the officers pushed him and 5 officers attacked this 75 year old man. They ended up charging him with impressing traffic and assaulting a police officer” there is video footage of this incident on different channels all over YouTube. A petition is currently being started to file a lawsuit for this incident. A 75 year old man attacked by 5 officers. Can you believe it? Unfortunately for this department, the camera does not lie.

Bully and old man for engaging in a constitutionally protected activity. Then make up reasons to arrest him. You cowards should be ashamed of yourselves. You are the kind of cops that mess with old people ,and pull over pretty girls, and hide from real criminals like punk ass school shooters. Low i.q. at it best nothing like a 50 year old high school kid with a badge and a gun. I'm sure your Orwellian minions will have these negative reviews censored and removed can't have pigs looking like pigs.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would for the entire Wichita police department. They will say anything they want to get what they want from you; as if you have no rights in any case you are involved in.

I was told they couldn't help me when my ex kept my daughter. He has a history of domestic violence and we have a court order showing I had custody that day. Funny, I thought that's what the police were here for. I will be making a formal complaint.

Cops here arrest an elderly man after they assault him and write up a fake ticket to justify their assault against him. Shameful.

Most unprofessional gang of thugs calling themselves policeman that I've ever seen! They need to be disbanded and all brought up on criminal charges!

I went to make a report about some fight at Truesdell middle school yesterday this happen I waited 1 hour and nobody helped me to make the report that is very frustrating .

I suggest that any contact with this PD is to be avoided, they seem to like to push people around and then arrest them for BS reasons.
