King's Moving & Storage Inc

We just moved from Wichita to D.C. and I am so pleased with how well Hardy and Hardy Jr did at packing our belongings. I’m nearly done unloading all boxes and haven’t found a damaged item yet. We had a horrible moving experience a few years ago and Hardy and his son assured me they would pack everything with care as if it were their own. He held to his word! Thank you!
While a different moving company transported and drove our goods, Kings moving and storage did a great job with packing for this military move. The only I convenience was that they heavily underestimated the weight of our goods and had to come back again a few days later, otherwise it was a great experience.

The army assigned us these movers and from horror stories of moving with the army and the reviews on here about this particular company, I was not sure how it would go. Now, I don't know how the cross country adventure will go or them putting things in storage and removing from storage until our house is ready at our next duty station but I don't believe any of that is Kings Moving and Storage. The packers that Kings sent were 3 girls in their mid 20's who were quick, efficient, and kind. They asked us about packing certain items and were respectful with our things. The second day there was a team with the original girls and an additional 3-4 people (mixed men and women). They double checked all items going, wrapped things we had been using since the original packers came, loaded the truck, and were very good with our things. It took them about 4 hours. I see no reason anything they lifted/transported would have gotten damaged from the way they packed the truck. They explained everything I signed and gave copies of our inventory. Overall, I would book these people again. They respected myself, my husband, our things and our house. I know that in moving a few things may receive damage ('tis the way of the world) but I don't believe that any of that would be the fault of this company!

The Army hired this company to move us state to state. This was my first time ever doing this and I was super skeptical and nervous because I like to be in control of things. I read the reviews and didn't feel much better. However, my experience thus far has been amazing. They took two days to pack and are loading the truck today, so maybe this review is a little soon, but it would take a lot to ruin my experience I think. Two different crews came and both were very polite and kept me informed about anything they couldn't take or anytime they took breaks. It seems like management has changed so I'm hoping the reviews get better for you guys. My only complaint--and it's not huge--is no one ever called to say when crews would be there in the mornings. Overall I am very pleased and would highly recommend this company.

You American people complain too much about everything. Some of the complaints i see on here are just petty. I used Kings movers and my experience was great! All three movers that came were very polite and took great care when wrapping my items and moving my furniture to the new location. I didn't have to micromanage them as they knew exactly what to do. I expected to have a few items broken and also scratches here and there on furniture due to the move and guess what? One of the items I transported in MY car broke and NOTHING in the moving truck broke. If you have so much issues with movers then simply move yourself and stop all the complaining because I can guarantee you will have broken items if you did your own move. I have moved myself before and it is awful. My experience was very good and I would definitely use them again if I could get the same three guys that did the move.

We had Kings moving &storage for our military moved at the end of August ‘19. Our main packers were Brittany and Crystal. They were great, asked questions if they found something if it needed to be packed or if we were still using it, explained if they were packing something in a box that or the reason for putting it in a specific box, were great about separating items they couldn’t take, were friendly and prompt when arriving both days, boxes were detailed with descriptions of items. They were quick and efficient. Thank you!

The manager was more than willing to bend over backwards for me to get me additional boxes, plenty of wrapping paper & rolls of tap that he most certainly didn’t have to. I even came back twice to get more supplies later. Unfortunately I had to move myself but I wish this company was my moving and packing Company for my move!!! Such a huge help!! Thank you so much for your HELP!!!

These are my go to people. Great customer service with a true caring approach. They go out of their way to help you out. Solid professional movers.

I throughly recommend this moving company, with raymond michels in the lead position anything is possible. Very detail oriented,and organized.

Quick easy, loaded in about 30 min. Office folks super nice. Possible overnight parking, only room for one truck or possible on street parking.
