I’ve never experienced that great of care before aside from my current primary vet. Everyone there was pleasant and obviously loves their job. Surgeon spoke to me directly and constantly communicated with me. I’m very happy with this service and relieved that my baby girl was taken care of.

Everyone was friendly and caring. Prices were really high but you will do anything for your pet. Our dog, Nikita, received excellent care and I would definitely return here if one of our pets had an emergency. Great place!

I cannot recommend this hospital enough! Me and my husband brought our kitten here and the staff did everything they could to save him. Despite their efforts, he ended passing from fading kitten syndrome. We were absolutely devastated, I was a wreck in the clinic. But I was overwhelmed with how caring and compassionate the staff was during our time of loss. These people truly care about the work they do and it shows in the care that they provide. RIP Gizmo ❤

The staff at VESH saved our dog Finnegan’s life! He had GDV and had to have an emergency surgery. Dr Alex and all of the staff were so caring and compassionate. Dr Alex explained to us what to expect during and after surgery. She sent me pictures of our dog his second night in the ICU and let us bring up homemade food for him since he wouldn’t eat anything they were trying to feed him. I am thankful for everything they did for our pup. Highly recommend!

I have had the unfortunate luck of having to bring my pup into an emergency vet twice now (a year apart). Both times I have taken her here. When going through an already stressful situation it is important that you are met with compassion and professionalism. That is what you will find here. Dr. Ward took care of us this time around and he was very thorough with his recommendations. He took the time to answer all of my questions and ensured that we understood what our options were. Not only that, but I really appreciate the cost transparency here. Our estimate happened to be one cent off tonight and Shana at the front desk was kind enough to cover that for us herself after we had paid the estimated amount. I am beyond happy with the care we receive here. If you are ever in need of emergency pet care, rest assured you’re in great hands here.

Everyone that we came into contact with at 2am was so wonderful to work with. They were kind and explained everything clearly to us at a very hard time. Their compassion was greatly appreciated and I highly recommend them if needed.

I was so impressed with every piece of our experience at Veterinary Emergency & Specialty hospital of Wichita! The folks who talked with on the phone and who checked us in when we got there were prompt, friendly, and helpful. All the care providers were wonderfully warm and compassionate, discussed costs and medical options openly and with understanding, and they sent us home with clear information about follow-up care and procedures. We felt our dog was very well cared for in the hospital and received high quality medical attention.

My experience with the staff here was wonderful. We brought our dog in at 1am, he had been very sick and only had days left. When it was time, they were very compassionate and gave us a private room to say our goodbyes. Upon leaving they gave us complimentary clay pawprints from our dog. If ever in a situation like ours, I highly recommend this hospital.

I took my cookie girl here after she was bit by a dog, they kept me up to date. Made me feel safe leaving my baby in their care. Most definitely will bring any of my animals if anything happens again!

My pup Hudson had a bad surgery experience at another vet so we came to see the Millard’s and they are the best! They cared so much and helped him get back to himself in no time. They are so genuine and kind!! Happy with the care and pricing!

Our cat, Joey, who was 14 got real sick this past weekend. We took him in for examination, we weren’t wanting to do a whole lot because we thought it was just an intestinal blockage. He was sent home with meds, but didn’t get better. Upon taking him back, we found out through tests that he was in dire straits and wouldn’t last long. After tears and discussion, we decided he would be better going to kitty heaven. The doctor and facility were extremely compassionate and let us spend his final hours with him. Thank you so much for all you did for us and Joey. He will be sorely missed😭

We want to thank all the staff that took wonderful care of our Sadie. Unfortunately on 4/19/24 she passed away. We are blessed that she was home with the family including her sister Nala, who misses her dearly as well as us. Rest easy Sadie Bug 🐶❤😥

I'm moved by the patience and compassion of the staff at this hospital. We had to rush our beloved Baby Girl in for breathing problems. Unfortunately, we had to face the decision of putting her down to end her suffering. The staff could not have been more compassionate. We were worried about cost and being turned away, but they took her in right away, then presented options on costs and dollar amount we were able to spend. During no time did we ever feel like we received less than stellar care for our dog because of cost or ability to pay. The Dr and staff were very knowledgeable and clear with expectations on prognosis. I feel like she was in the best hands possible. It's tough being faced with the decisions we had to make, but I'm grateful for the patience and professionalism of the staff.

I had to bring my dog in for a deep cut on her head. They got her stitched up and taken care of in only a couple hours. They were very nice and seemed like they cared about my pup. Great experience.

Our cat recently had to have surgery here (he had an obstruction) and I cannot express the kindness, quality, and quickness to address his health issues. He is recovering fantastically. They assisted me with everything to make sure I understood all the fees, which was incredibly transparent. I loved I knew how much we needed for his medical emergency that way our family could plan accordingly. The hospital is very clean, organized, and easy to find when using a GPS. They communicate well through phone, text, and have an easy App to navigate. The wait time was not long at all, they are considerate of your time.

Great Place! Dr H Millard is wonderful. Did some serious surgery on my Stnd Poodle, Bodhi. He did very well & was able to come home the next day. Everyone very nice & they took great care of him. If you have an emergency or need a Specialty Surgeon it's the place to go!

These guys always give our pets the best care. We took our cat in for an illness. It was on a Saturday and they got us in quickly regardless of how busy they were. The doc was super nice and told us exactly what was wrong and how to treat him. Sent us home with the appropriate medication. Luther is on his way to recovery. We can’t thank them enough.

We were referred to Dr Millard by our primary vet to consult on surgery for our 8 year old bulldog recently diagnosed with cancer. The staff who helped us was very friendly. Dr Millard herself was amazing. She wrote out the details we spoke about for us to refer back to later, asked multiple times if we had questions, assured us multiple times about the procedure and explained what to expect. Highly recommend for those needing more than the usual vet care for their fur-babes.

Dr Millard was so helpful. She gave us options and called after surgery to check on our dog Jake. We received excellent care!
