A very unprofessional experience this place turned out to be. HUGE disappointment ordering a dress 3 wks prior to an event, bieng assured it would arrive on time, which never did, mind you the whole time dealing with the owner herself about this "particular" dress, and having take me 3 days to get in touch with someone who knew how to place an order as no one had any clue how to place an order, I visited this place in person asked questions told someone who knew would be coming, waited 30 mns, never came was asked for my info and item info and told someone would contact back. NEVER happened, AND that should have been a first clue (of how shady things we're to come). Anyhow I still insisted called back next day got the same thing, went in AGAIN to the store and told the same thing someone with knowledge about placing the order would call me. Waited still no call, I finally called back the 3 day really upset I was getting the run-around, but turned out I was actually speaking to the owner, in which seemed to put my mind at ease and apologized for all the inconveniences. Assured me I would be dealing with her directly and to come on in and make my selection. I did. We chatted, made me feel very comfortable an worth the troubles that happened put behind us. Proceed to select dress, asked to put a deposit down, in which I did, was told in a week it would arrive! Yay I thought feeling much better and happy I'd finally found my dress that was needed just 3 weeks away!?!?! Well through text chatting I was told " I went ahead and ordered some other dresses just in case so you can have a selection to choose from just in case the dress choosen turns out to be not what I'd expected and we could have some backups to play with, BUT that I was not OBLIGATED in any way to these dresses as they were for the boutique as well and not to worry she just " wanted to keep me happy for my troubles and not have a fail of any sorts bieng my event was weeks away and these dresses were new arrivals and I could have more to choices if needed " keeping in mind I was specifically told not to feel obligated to these other dresses. A week came, went no dress, another 7 days, got a call finally the dresses came in, and to go in for fittings. Get there, given 4 dresses except MY dress I ordered and paid a deposit on. Spoke with owner, stated she would check to see what happened, to try the dresses on that came in and see if there was anything I liked, obviously beautiful but not the colors needed for the wedding. I was told by Erika specifically, I'll check on your dress and see what happened on that Monday we still have time. At this point, we are a week away from the wedding, still no dress. Told she would call.me and not to worry! Monday came and went no call, tue, wed, still nothing, Panick set in at this point and told "we warned you about that place". Needless to say we had to back out of the family event due to this mess! I called Carizma's & requested my deposit back. Told the " owner" was out of town and unreachable. The employee stated she would look into the issue as she had no knowle. 3 mns later called me back with sudden knowledge in the matter and stated your dress came in on Friday day prior and someone tried calling you. And you didn't come in for it so we cannot give you your deposit bc of that. I WAS SHOCKED to say the least, #1 I'd been dealing with Erika ONLY, and she never or anyone else called for that matter to let me know!? I Absolutely had NO calls nor voicemail regarding any of this!! I told the employee this, she said I'm sorry there's nothing we can do about it. REALLY?! Carizma's DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS and refused to take responsibility due to lack of communication on thier end and nothing could be done? What a load of CROCK!!!
Regardless of everyone warning me about this place, I had the (UN) pleasure of such a bad and disappointing EXPERIENCING first hand and would not recommend this place. Be very careful. I have the proof through msgs of all our conversations and receipts of my deposit.
