Dr. Hu, Andrea and their team are extraordinary! On my breast reduction journey, my primary care physician referred me to Dr. Emily Hu’s office. He said she is the best, and he was right!!! From my initial consultation, preparation for surgery, day of surgery, and post care after surgery was superb! Their love, compassion, honesty, positivity and genuine kindness were present throughout the entire process. I never felt so cared for. I did every single thing they recommended and it lent to an exceptional healing process for myself. If I had questions, they were right there to answer them. Words cannot truly express Dr. Hu and Andrea’s passion for their work! The outcome was beyond anything I could have hoped for! They set the bar for an exceptional experience. Dr. Hu and her staff are wonderful! I felt like they really listened to me and made a great effort to understand the results I was looking for (which is not the experience I had with a different cosmetic surgeon that I went to previously). I'm one month post-procedure and I am very happy with the results!

After considering breast reduction for about 25 years, I was equal parts nervous and excited about the procedure. Dr. Emily Hu and PA-C Andrea Crandall were both highly skilled, encouraging, and attentive to all of my questions and concerns. During my recovery, I had a few bad luck minor complications, which they handled with expertise and quality care. The whole staff was warm and personable. I will absolutely return to Artista for any future reconstructive/cosmetic surgery needs!

Dr. Hu, Andrea and team are absolutely wonderful. I have had the best experience with them. I had a complicated situation, and the result of the breast implant removal and breast lift is everything I never knew I could have and I'm beyond pleased. For the first time in my adult life I'm able to feel comfortable with my breasts physically and psychologically.  From the consult to 16 weeks week post op I have felt cared for every step of the way. Dr. Hu and Andrea are patient, honest and kind. I love Artista so much that I have even started getting facials from the aestheticians there and that is a pure heavenly experience. When I finally started the process to have breast reduction surgery, I was so nervous on the phone that I forgot my own address. Yet Dr. Emily Hu, Andrea Ball and the entire staff were nothing but warm, understanding and kind. The procedure and recovery expectations were clearly and concisely explained. With their support, I was able to lose the weight I needed to safely have the surgery. They truly went above and beyond.

I am currently a month post surgery and it has already been life changing. Recovery has been very smooth and I no longer have consistent neck, back and hip pain. I feel lighter not only physically but mentally and more human than I have in years.

Dr. Hu is a skilled plastic surgeon who explains what she is doing and answers questions well. Andrea does a great job explaining medical procedures and patiently answering questions of that nature, too.

All of Dr. Hu's staff are so ready to help. Karina was so good with driving directions to their office when my GPS kept directing me to the nearby hospital's emergency room!!. :] Jayla is also very pleasant to work with.

Dr Hu and her staff really made this a comfortable experience. There is a level of personal attention that sets this office apart from other health care providers. I had a cyst and lipoma removed and Dr Hu did an excellent job. Klein Dermatology recommended Dr Hu above all other plastic surgeons in the area, and I can see why.

Dr. Hu performed my breast implant removal with lift surgery and I could not be happier with the results. She was personable and caring and made me feel like I was in really good hands - her entire staff remembered small things we would talk about at each visit and then follow up with me on the next visit. The entire experience exceeded all of my expectations and I will continue to book services with the Hu crew - the facials with Lauren are fantastic.

I debated on having an abdominoplasty done for the last ten years, but I was very hesitant due to the surgery/recovery process, and fearing I would not be happy with the results. Everyone at Dr Hu’s has been fabulous and has really gone out of their way to be kind and compassionate in their care and all give great personal attention. We have met so many staff (Dr Hu, Andrea, Alex, Natalie, Chloe, and Nina). All are exceptional and I would highly recommend them.

Dr Hu was originally referred to me to remove a Basel Cell Carcinoma on my neck. The scar location would definitely be apparent if not done with with great finesse, because of the wearing of necklaces and earrings in the future.
Her office staff was pleasant and informative as soon as I opened the door for the consultation. From the beginning, Dr Hu explained fully the upcoming procedure and all the details, answering my many questions.
At the time of the surgery, all those involved with the procedure were competent, friendly and efficient so I could put my concerns out of my mind.
Actually, there wasn't much pain involved post op and my follow up visits have all been positive and gratifying, as I'm seeing the scar fade into the natural lines of my neck. I could not be more pleased. I would gladly recommend Dr. Hu to whomever would ask me about her!!

I was originally referred to Dr. Hu via Dermatology Assoc. for scar repair after surgery to remove melanoma. I hated my scar and Dr. Hu was AMAZING! She set realistic goals for my forehead scar and the results were FAR BETTER then I though possible.

Since my initial appointment I have had lots of fun stuff done! The entire team is amazing and caring. I now use them for facials, peels, product and other fun and amazing age remedies. I LOVE this office! I feel cared for and always feel I'm getting honest and reliable information from Dr. Hu and each of her team members. If your looking for a little "pick me up" and maybe want advice on wrinkles, fillers, age spots......Dr. Hu has what your looking for and more! I have always believed that when it comes to a surgeon, I do not care about bedside manner. It's about having the smartest and most skilled person in their field standing at your side. Rarely are you lucky enough to find a bedside manner to accompany the skill. Dr. Hu is one of those people. A history of malignant melanoma is scary enough, much less when a lesion is taken off your face. The end results are amazing. One month out and the scar is barely noticeable. Post-operative skin surgery is painful--this wasn't. Throughout the process, we were actually laughing and telling stories that made me feel incredibly at ease. Her office staff are equally talented and personal. I refer people to professionals on a very selective basis because my profession allows me to see practitioners that are not great at their crafts. I recommend Dr. Hu without reservation.

I interviewed 2 plastic surgeons for replacement of a reconstruction gone wrong from a mastectomy 19 years ago. I chose Dr Hu. She was very straight forward and understood exactly what I wanted /needed. I am still in the recovery period and I am so happy with the outcome so far. She and her staff are amazing. Very caring. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend Dr Hu to everyone.

Dr. Hu's staff is amazing with Andrea answering the phones/scheduling and along with Andie and Heather as the nurses who care about their patients. Not only does Dr. Hu's staff adore their boss, but also the hospital staff at Legacy love Dr. Hu, because the Legacy staff will work along side with Dr. Hu -all day- with back to back surgeries. Dr. Hu is a miracle worker because she had to redo someone else's reconstruction work, take out rotated implants, scar tissue, etc., and then Dr. Hu had to perform from scratch. She is a brilliant, passionate surgeon, an artist, caring, compassionate to her patients, and a miracle worker. Dr. Hu is a godsend. My confidence is back! I feel wonderful with no more pain! I can now truly look at myself in the mirror which I have not been able to do in 3 years. I am beyond grateful!!! Dr. Hu was also nominated for a compassion award with Breast Friends. I look and feel amazing! YOU HAVE TO SEE DR. HU before you make any decisions for revisions or reconstruction work due to breast cancer. I have searched and looked for the right plastic surgeon to fix me for 3 years and Dr. Hu and her staff are the best!!! THANK YOU DR. HU for giving my self-confidence back!!!!! I will always be forever grateful!

I am 1 month post op from a breast lift/slight reduction done by Dr. Hu. Even with some healing left to do I could not be happier with my results.
