Econo Lodge Southeast

I've spent many nights here and will likely stay many more. The staff is helpful, kind, and generally very hospitable. The rooms are clean and charming with a cozy, homey feeling. Microwaves work, fridges are cold, showers are perfect and have bathtubs too.

This is simply a great hotel with very fair prices!

I love this location because you have everything you need within a short distance. You can find pretty much any type of food and get any shopping done you want. The rooms are always at a comfortable temperature which seems like an odd thing to say. But it makes all the difference in the world when you walk in to a nice warm place rather than an ice box. The rooms are really nice I especially like the ones with the extra little living space it feels less like a hotel room and makes it a much more comfortable stay.#Feels Like Home

Friendly, helpful staff. The swimming pool and laundry room don't work. Room is clean, light breakfast and coffee opportunity; here are microwave, refrigerator, small kitchen area - affordable price is worth it. It is perfect for my business trip, even for more days. I will come back!

The room was large. We booked a room with a whirlpool tub. Even though we could not figure out how to operate it and could not enjoy it, it would have been nice. They have free continental breakfast which included muffins and fruits. Good price.

For the price and just in general this hotel was awesome! For under $100 with tax we stayed in a king size suite with jacuzzi tub. This suite has alot of things that are rare these days like: a mini fridge, microwave, couch, multiple chairs, ac and heat that actually works, and a bed frame that isn't plastic (motel 6 uses plastic bedframes....beware if you stay at one they are always broken).
I see reviews complaining about the beds, cleanliness and plumbing.....1-beds)the beds were great not squishy and not rock hard with FOUR REAL PILLOWS on the bed! Most importantly the sheets and blankets were spotless. I've seen blood and all sorts of stuff on sheets at nice hotels so I was pleasantly surprised to see these sheets, pillows and blankets spotless. 2-cleanliness) toilet, sink, counters, furniture, desk, microwave, fridge all very clean. I found a 1/4 of a pine needle and that was IT! I've stayed at nice hotels where you can't even take your shoes off because the floor is filthy/sticky.....here it's hard floors and you can walk around barefoot without worrying about nasty stuff on your feet. Again the bed, always a huge concern, was spotless as well, same with shower. 3-plumbing)both sinks, the toilet, shower and tub all worked/flushed/drained/functioned properly with no issues.
My only 2 issues were 1: says there is a breakfast but it's literally bagels, muffins and watered down juice. Nothing else. Cereal or oatmeal would be nice. And 2: as lovely as the jacuzzi I paid extra for was, I noticed the whirlpools weren't properly cleaned and had some gunk in them. Due to this I opted not to use the tub :"( I would recommend just bring a dollar tree scrub brush and a bottle of cleaner and you won't have to worry. It wasn't terribly dirty I'm just a nail tech and know that improperly cleaned whirlpools = trouble! Next time I'll bring my cleaner and enjoy a soak in this easy two person tub :)

Easy to find, rooms were CLEAN and updated, mattresses were new, did I say the rooms were clean.
Great value for a hotel stay, Continental breakfast available and park right in front of your door. A little street noise but quiet neighborhood.

Great room especially for the price! The rooms are super clean and large! The outside is very clean and well kept and the office staff was very accommodating to our needs! We will be staying here again!

The room was so welcoming. We got one with a jacuzzi. It was very clean and relaxing the jets were great. Had a seperate seating area too. Great hotel i will definitely be going back!

We had a very comfortable stay in a spa room. The hydro jets bubble away the sirness and get do relaxed sleep is easy.
The room was very large and accommodating.

Nice place. Not as creepy as most motels. Very clean room with all the wanted amenities. The ac/heating unit works great. I had a better experience than I had anticipated.

Clean hotel, kind staff, and a large room. Good choices of shows on television as well. Parking lot is open so ensure you leave no valuables in the car.

Great location. Great Staff. Swimming Pool. Clean AND large rooms. If all the thousands of motel/hotels I've had to frequent in the last 3 years, this place is my absolute favorite! Thank you, Econolodge for giving us such great accomodations over the years!!!!

Excellent Budget Hotel Southeast Portland

The Econo Lodge Southeast Portland/Millwaukie was clean comfortable and convenient. What more do you need. The decor is a little dated, but all the rest is great. We slept well and the staff from front desk to housekeeping are welcoming. The location once you find out where you are is in the center of all Portland Oregon has to offer, a few miles to many major attractions.

Room huge, clean, our room had 2 TV's+ alarm clock had 2 plug in outlets & usb cord outlet. One of the best quality rooms I've stayed in for that low of a price.

It was the best motel I've ever stayed in. It was clean and a great location for local food. The owner was quick to fulfill a request of mine. Highly recommend this place.

Very clean, a bit worn but in good repair. I've stayed in cheap motels all over the country. This is by far the nicest. Will absolutely stay again next time I head for southern OR.

Fantastic rooms. Very clean. Safe. Good service and a nice little breakfast area with enough to get you started. Will be returning if in the area.

Great Choice Near Clackamas & Portland. The staff was most helpful & Friendly. The morning breakfast is basic but with the great price, wasn't expecting much.(Good quality juice and coffee). For the price this is a great option in the Clackamas/Southeast Portland Area. Rooms are Nice and Very Clean, most of the rooms I believe are over sized(SUITES), great to lay out and really relax after a long day. Our room had a great choice of cable channels (about 90) and a micro/fridge. The hotel is off Hwy 99E, which has easy access to Downtown Portland activites and easy access from & to I-205 (Clackamas/Oregon City). The Hot Tub is something we didnt expect at a Budget Hotel, and really enjoyed in the cold winter night, they also have a pool which is seasonal.

Great affordable hotel. I have stayed here many time over the years. The rooms are always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
