Bread Poets

The cinnamon bread is insanely delicious! We’ve also had sandwiches which were so fresh and filling. When we visit our family in Mandan they always bless us with bread poets to enjoy on our long drive back to Texas.

A bakery with a great and unique selection of sandwiches featuring their own bread. Their selections are pretty much just their baked goods and then sandwiches and a couple soups at lunch so don't go in expecting coffee service but this is always a go-to lunch for me.

I give it a 5 star because I absolutely LOVE their banana nut bread. It's super moist and the taste is so amazing. The only thing I dislike is that they only make it one day a week (which is on a Monday) and it sells really fast ( which is a good thing on their end but not so good for any customers who is craving to get one 😂).

Best place to get sandwiches, bread, treats, and soup. Bread Poets never disappoints! My family went here as I was growing up and this establishment has continued to be my favorite place.

We enjoyed taking our guests from out of town to Bread Poets twice this past week. The first time for their famous caramel rolls (and sunflower and cinnamon loaf bread) and the second time for sandwiches and a loaf of bread heels. All the staff are super friendly and nice. We look forward to returning again.

Sandwiches are amazing. Fresh bread and rolls. Staff is friendly always a plus. Had the Shakespeare was awesome. Daily specials. Also have some pretty amazing soups. Specialty breads and sweet breads. Nice cozy place!

Such tasty bread here! The sandwiches are great too. Get ten sandwiches and get the next one free! My favorite are the salted caramel cookies! The cinnamon log is good too. I also got a load of lefse bread recently, but I never got to try it because the dog ate the whole thing before I ever got to it. Must have been really tasty!

Fantastic place to grab a healthy and fresh sandwich with their amazing bread. Plus you can pick up a cinnamon log to go. Soup is offered as well to dine in or take out!

They sell unique sandwiches that are delicious. They also make their own wide variety of breads. You can purchase loafs to bring home. If you have not tried it yet, you could be missing some really good food.

The cinnamon logs are so tasty!! I had forgotten how much I love the cinnamon chocolate chunk scones!

This is an excellent hidden gem in downtown Bismarck. From the outside, it's a bit hard to spot, but once you're inside, you will remember where it's at for a long time. Their menu has enough choices to satisfy just about everyone looking for a sandwich with some of the freshest ingredients found in the area. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable, and passionate at what they do. The restaurant is clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. If you are going through Bismarck, I highly recommend stopping here for lunch. You will not be disappointed.

Love their sandwiches! It's kinda confusing when you walk in, your not sure who has been helped but the staff is quick to greet you and ask what you need. Did I mention I love their sandwiches, their tomato soup is great too!

Such amazing food! I had never been here before. I was AMAZED at how soft the multigrain bread was. Normally you expect it to be somewhat dry but it was perfect. Just walking past the store is an experience since you can smell the amazing food baking.

Bread Poet's has the most amazing artisan breads, scones, cookies and granola! Their Cinnamon Log Loaf is a 'must have' whenever our family comes for a visit. I know friends who pack a few loaves in their suitcases when they fly to see their grandkids! These folks make an outstanding product, AND they give back very generously to this community!
