Christian County Vet

Update- my sweet little dog has to have another surgery. 😥
I have no issues about taking her back to Christian County. They seem attentive and caring and they obviously have her best interest in mind. The doctor has called my twice, personally. Great service!
The place is always clean, always friendly and I trust them with my pet's care.
All the other patients/ customers seem satisfied.

Original review- I have taken my dog to Christian County Vet several times. They have been super friendly and taken great care of her every time. She even had to have surgery and it all went well. Nothing bad to say. She healed up nicely.
The place is always clean, staff always welcoming and friendly. They seem to get us in in a reasonable amount of time.
The doc always calls us with updates and suggested treatment/ care.
I recommend and will certainly return.

We had to unfortunately put our cat down today! They were very patient and very nice!!! Highly recommend them for anything!!!

The vets are very caring people with all ages of animals. We have had puppies to old dogs. We have also used them from our feral kitten to our loving cat. I can only say positive things about them.

We had gotten our Lab and within 2 days of having him we found out he tested positive for PARVO. Dr Bowling and the entire team, took such incredible care of our Tucker, 11 days in and we were able to ring him home. They put everything into our dog and we are so happy that a year later he is thriving. Every time we go infor a visit tucker just loves each and everyone of these employees, we can never thank them enough for saving our dog.

After 3 visits to another vet and an er stay to figure out the issue, my Denver was not expected to even survive the surgery she needed because of how long it took to get the diagnosis. Then she wasn't expected to survive the first night. Dr. Bowling defied all odds and now my dog gets to live a long and healthy life. The techs are very caring and attentive. They kept her safe and loved for 2 overnight stays. My only regret is that I didn't start at Christian County Vet in the first place. I can't give enough stars here. I'd recommend them to anyone that has a pet!

This Vet is amazing!!! Very helpful and caring!!! Our 8 Year old Beagle mix had a really bad limp when she would get up. Vet came in put her legs through some tests and found she had arthritis. After the medicine they gave us she is like a puppy again and feels much better!!! Thank You Christian County Vet!!!

I've taken my cats to Christian County Vet for years, and now my pup. Like any pet owner, the occasional emergency happens and they've always handled the situation with urgency and care. I know that they will care for and love my animals when they are left for treatment.

I had to have my dog put down after having her for 9 years and the staff was so sweet and kind. They sent me a card with her nose and paw prints. I balled my eyes out for almost an hour over it. Due to them doing that for me I was actually able to get Bella’s nose print tattooed and I’ll be forever great full to be able to have a part of my dog with me everywhere I go.
I’ll never be able to thank them enough

They are a great price and help out my dog well every time!

They always take great care of my sweet girls Dixie & Uno! They’ve given Dixie (my English pointer/Catahoula) checkups for her diabetes and just stitched up Uno’s leg where it looked like she got caught on barb wire with a clean cut to the bone and are so good to them both!

I had never used this vet before and we are new to the area. I called because our little guy was shaking and in pain and something was wrong. Even though they were booked, they let me drop him off to be seen in between patients. They made the time! Most places would schedule you for an available slot (that alone said a lot about this place). They called me later to pick him up and explained to me what was going on after doing an xray (which we requested be done if needed) and checking him over. Now we have medication for his aching bones and know how to help him. He's been great since leaving there and has been running and jumping like he used to. EVEN IF YOU LIVE A GOOD DISTANCE AWAY, BRING YOUR PETS HERE! You'll be glad you did. Also, we were surprised with how cheap our bill was, just another plus. Also, I'm sure every employee there is great, but our baby was seen by Dr. Katie. (I didn't get to see her, but if she's reading this, THANK YOU! And we'll be seeing you soon because we've now switched vets and are getting established with your clinic. You're amazing!)

Best large and small animal veterinary practice in the Southwest! I love the whole team. From start to finish they are empathetic, friendly, caring, and informative. They make sure you know everything going on and are on the same page. Kam, Rose and I love it here!

They're a great bunch of folks! They squeezed us in today on short notice and took care of our pupper. Always made us feel like they genuinely care about our pets. Love this place!

Unfortunately we know our 13 year old lab was not doing well. We tried our usual vet and they could not get us in for 4 days. We called the vet they recommended and it was 3 days to get her in. Christian County made sure they saw her same day. After the vet saw her and preliminary test she gave us the news we expected. We could not have been treated more kindly or or Lady Girl treated with more dignity. God bless each of you that cared for Lady and your kindness will never be forgotten. You are The Best!! Everyone we have met at CCVS was kind & patient with us (worried pet parents that we were) and carefully listened to our concerns with regard to our cat on our very 1st visit. They gave us many options, as far as the diagnosis and the treatment, understanding & balancing the welfare of our cat with our financial constraints. They are efficient & knowledgeable, and they take time to clearly explain everything. They made a very difficult situation as comfortable as possible for us, even sending us a sympathy card (with handwritten notes from all the staff) after the eventual passing on of that cat. They continue to care for our other kitty cats, as you can see from the photo of one of them who was on the verge of kidney failure & is now doing much better. They really do care about animals & the people that love them!!

My gelding CC had an emergency. We weren’t sure if his leg was broken or what was wrong. Dr. Loula came right out and diagnosed him with Cellulitis and began treatment immediately. He made arrangements to return the next morning to give CC more medication and pain meds. He informed me exactly what needed to be done to ensure CC would recover. Dr. Loula and his staff were in constant contact with me throughout this whole process and answered any questions or concerns I had. Dr. Loula came out for a recheck and was very happy with how things are going with CC. We are able to put him back out with his pasture mate and the swelling in his leg is almost completely gone. My boy CC means the world to me. I thank Dr. Loula and his staff for everything they have done for us. Truly thankful

Christian County Vet has wonderful providers who are so caring and kind to the animals and to their humans.

They are very good with all different kinds of animals. I've had them do my horses, cattle, calves that are sick & dogs. Good on all animals
