This is an incredible place where heroes rest. It is honorable and solemn. It is immaculately maintained and easy to navigate. It sits just above Lake Springfield and has beautiful views. It is a peaceful place in a peaceful land because of the great men and women laid to rest in it. Thank you for your service.

Beautiful well maintained national cemetary in Springfield. Has many memorials, paths, and benches in a quiet neighborhood area. Also has a section of Lake Springfield for fishing and the Trail of Honor for walking.

A beautiful place, worthy of Missouri's veterans! I've attended three interments with military honors here, and each was a beautiful ceremony. The volunteers here really take their jobs seriously, and it shows in how well-kept the entire facility is. One volunteer told me that they love having visitors, so don't feel like an intruder if you want to go for a walk and enjoy the area!

From the minute we arrived until we left we were treated with respect and courtesy. The ceremony was very dignified with attention to the utmost honor and respect for my brother and his family and was flawless. The grounds are meticulous. Thank you to the Honor Guard and Director for a perfect service. Roger Daume.

I was driving down highway 65 North about the time the cemetery was being built and the only building on the property was a small one room.
My wife and I went into see about the property and was asked if I would like to sign up for a position into the cemetery. As a retired USAF officer I signed up to be burred there along with my wife. Several years later my wife passed away and was buried there in PROBABLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FEDERAL CEMETARY IN THE UNITED STATES and being stationed in Washington at one time - I include Arlington in that comment. OUTSTANDING FACILITY AND CREDIT TO THE NATUONAL CEMETARIES AROUND THE WORLD.
